Dear Sifus,

Anybody here working in Loyang area? Loyang Cresent to be precise. Got an offer from OnG company there with salary of SGD 7.2k but I'm not sure about the accommodation around the area. Seems like they jack up the rental there compared to other part of Singapore. Another thing, is the offer on the high side or lower side as I'm also got around the same figure here in Malaysia.

Inside TOPS? I stay at tampines but I drive to loyang. We have shuttle bus to pick up at mrt station but u need to be punctual. But with your salary, u can take taxi daily also no problem as from tampines n pasir ris is near by only.

of coz it gotta be follow, else why put it there in the 1st place. maybe because it's complicate to settle the insurance (in the event of accident) if owner not around.

They never check the ownership of the car. My wife drive my Malaysia plate car into Singapore and successfully register n get a cash card at the immigration without checking it. I was worried also if they reject it and I can't go n drive the car in.

Can't understand what you're asking. From reading briefly, SG gonna:
- tighten EP eligibility criteria (doesn't exactly say how)
- increase WP and SPass levies
- reduce DRC (foreign worker limit).

Downpayment for cars now gonna be 40, 50, 60k biggrin.gif
