Hi guys,

Just wondering for the previous years...usually how many days before CNY (chu 1) the jam will start?
I am planning to drive back with my friend from SG all the way to UP NORTH back home...
CNY 2013 is on Sunday...so if I go back on thursday morning...will I be caught in the jam in the highway?

Please advice as this is the first year I work in SG....no experience in the JAM trend.... hmm.gif
*
Thursday morning confirm no jam. Can take your sweet time to go back. Most will go back on Friday.

i go back on the 2nd day of CNY this year (after work, factory worker like me need to work on holidays). no Jam at all, Next year (2013) i will go back on 1st day of CNY morning (after work as well, working night shift the day before CNY). My aunty is married to a Singaporean, they always go back KL on the 1st day of CNY, and my uncle can speed 160-180 on highway without problem. no traffic at all. but as for before CNY, not very sure.
We dont like to take risk, we always take the safest method, go back when confirm no jam smile.gif

I do have a question

I read somewhere in MOM, "Work Permit holder is not allow to drive in singapore unless your job scope is related to driving"

however im not sure it is refer to both car and motorbike or ONLY car ?

so my main question is, can a work permit holder ride a SG motor in SG ?

(of course after convert to SG license)
*
you can drive/ride any local cars/motorcycles regardless of status. Just need a Sg license.

Hey guys, I planned to take Starhub but the staff required me to have a billing address (PUB/bank billing with my name). However I use e-billing for my bank account. So is there any alternative way to show the billing address?
