yes. when you enter singapore you show passport + WP/SP/EP card to immigration officer.

if you did fingerprinting process during WP formalities i think you can also use the autogate directly. I know EP can, dunno whether SP/WP can or not.

yea i did fingerprinting on the day i went to register my work pass...i even got ask the officer, she asked me to use the normal checkpoint.the one with immigration officer stamping the passports..she wasnt sure either so she asked me to use the normal checkpoint.and do i have to pay income tax if i work in sg? and do i have to pay to sg or my for the income tax?

You can register for autogate pass, just go to the office during work hours. Registration usually is done 10-15 minutes. You can use your passport for clearance 24 hours after registration. I'm with Work Permit pass, using it daily for commute from JB to SG.

You won't be taxed if your annual salary + bonus + all kinds of crap is below SGD$20,000. Anything above that, tax and of course pay in dollars!
No tax from Malaysia side, you don't work in Malaysia. No need tax.

Hi.. Recently i accept an offer to work in singapore..the hr of the company ask me to medical check up at malaysia and pass the result to them so that i am eligible to work for them.. ( it mention in the terms & condition of the job offer).. But i also need to do medical check up also when i'm going there to report for duty (shud be for work pass application).
Do you all encounter this before? I mean to have medical check up twice?

as far i know, whoever wants to apply for work pass, must undergo medical check up. I did went through, once.bout the second time.idk~
