It's not easy to work in Big 4.

Partly I wan to earn the exchange rate in Singapore. The language we used is both English and Mandarin. English for writing and Mandarin for talking.

If you guys have any accts vacancy in Singapore, please let me know.

Thanks alot guys.

My salary is above 2k. Looks like I have no protection at all.

So it seems that under Singapore law, it's okay if the contract signed is for working 24 hours and 7 days a week.
*
Of course it's okay. Some people want to work as many hours as they can in order to get more money. The law has no idea whether you want or don't want to work 24/7. It has no idea whether you negotiated to get your $2K+ monthly salary in return for working 40 hours a week, or 60 hours. That's why you and your employer have a contract. The law does not not understand why an educated, independent adult would contract to do something he doesn't want to do.

It's forever and ever as long Cathay is open. I usually go amk hub watch show with fren. So I pay for myself and I can get a free ticket for my fren.

U probably nvr knew abt it becoz it must be bought in sun morning. So if u want to enjoy the discount be kiasu and make sure u are there before its fully redeemed.

Myself got denied the m1 1 to 1 just by the person queing in front of me. I was quite mad that day. It's limited to 250 person in whole Cathay Singapore.

I am not sure, but for my case, My employer didn't tax me anything because it shows my income below 20k since i left the company in January.
They do provide me with an IRAS letter showing my income for year 2012 but no tax deduction was made. I work in that company more than 2 years though.
*
Thanks Lester. I've received letter from IRAS stating they have deducted tax amount from my withholding salary, and I'm requesting Form IR8A from my previous employer too...

Guess I can only wait and see if IRAS will tax me under non-resident rate for my Oct to Dec 2012 income...

Thanks again bro smile.gif

Hi guys, good morning

2 questions here:-

1)
Any PR here being caught before for driving a Malaysian car into SG?
Dammit, my fren's fren recently being caught twice.
On the first time, it is just a verbal warning.
On the second time, it is a fine of $5,000 or something.

2)
I heard LTA will have an alternative to allow Malaysian PR to drive Malaysian car in SG.
But you need to apply for a special license from LTA. Thereafter, you are good to go.
Anyone tried before?

That is right. They will ask you to fill in some forms.

And remember to wake up Sun early morning. From my experience in amk hub, by 10.30 am the offer will be fully redeemed. Not sure abt other branches.

No problem. Can save some money especially if you and ur close ones are movie lovers. Just to let u know that if both u and ur fren got m1 plans, it does't mean u can get it for free. U still have to pay the price for 1 person for 2 tickets.

If both of u and ur fren has m1, u can buy 2 shows but pay one person ticket per show. It's always a 50% discount.

Better pay more rather than risk you chance of getting home, because you can never knew how is the traffic condition from SG to larkin, board at golden miles better. thumbup.gif

if you are crossing the causeway by bus from kranji & if you reach kranji after 1730, better allow 3hrs to reach larkin.

never heard of it before. why would the LTA even wanna consider allowing that ? I have heard of Singaporean who stay in JB long term can apply to drive MY car into Singapore. BUT, they have to pay all the duties that applies to Sg car, probably including COE. laugh.gif
