They should do somethinng about that huge stagnating pond. Massive mosquito breeding ground. They even take lift up to the 20+ floors.
Even the management knows. They put those UV mosquito traps in lobby & gym. But useless. Even at lift lobby right beside the UV lamp you can still see mosquitoes.

Wah. First, major fire, woman jump off, then truck fall. Wonder how many casualties so far.

Yes if you notice their architect tries to be "design-ny" but not practical.

For example on 5th floor, there's a nice-looking looong bridge-to-nowhere, but doesn't stop you from getting wet if you want to move from Block A to B (to go to gym etc). It goes nowhere. Just a walkway that doesn't serve any purpose doh.gif

At Block B, there's a shallow water feature that blocks the pathway when you want to walk into the lobby doh.gif

To exit from all the blocks' car parks, you drive all around one big round to exit near Edelweiss doh.gif All that money and space spent on the road, and adding minutes and wasting thousands of everyone's petrol for years (decades?) to come

A few others too. Symptomatic of an architect that wants to show off but didn't consider the practicality.

Outdoor playground only feasible when it's sun down and not raining. Hopefully they also remember to install adequate lighting.

Be aware of your surrounding environment. Don't text and walk 🤭

Btw, the water feature must be very clear without much contrast hence why it didn't catch you attention even while texting.

Not only that, it's just right in the middle of the natural way to walk to the lobby. You have to actively go out of way, to the side this shallow pool, and it is narrow.

They provided another way - but that one has one of the fire doors that you have to push hard to open. So - another waste of money for this fire door (when the other way doesn't have a door anyway).

Should provide Segway rental, be different. Have Segway lanes. Think outside the box. Like that, people can look at more shops and buy more stuff biggrin.gif

edit: OK, or Ninebot also can

BK's "backdoor" is open so I manage to get inside the mall and see it from the GF level.

Came across some established F&Bs opening soon, such as Dunkin Donuts, Auntie Ann, Liang Sandwich, Sushi Zanmai, Tealive & many more. Also Guardian's looks like it's ready.

Couldn't take photos due to guards around.

So, basically the exact same stores as every other mall huh.gif dry.gif wacko.gif

Doesn't sound so bad.

Plenty of reasons to hang out there, since I live nearby.

Exactly. Only attract people who live nearby.

I hope there is a big beautiful gym in this mall

And reasonably priced, with functional equipment (Kettlebells, lots of pull up stations, battle ropes) and weightlifting areas. Union Strength @ Plaza Damas is a good example.

Or some fun fitness stuff like SuperPark @ Avenue K for kids and adults, or Jump Street

I have 2 units of 2 bedders and 1 studio.
Rentals are 3600 and 3700 for the 2 bedders and 2800 for the studio.
So far, zero down time since I first got my first tenants. Usually can get new tenants before the old one moves out.
Not hard to rent out with the right decor and agent.
*
Good job. Means that right now on mudah the 1700 asking for the studio is super cheap, will be gone in 60 seconds. Also can see 1800, 1900, 2000 (full furnished).

Thats good to hear from actual owners, not from fake lowball ads from agents drool.gif

Why would so many agents "fake lowball"? How about the reverse, ie owners fake highball too. Could be either way. Everyone just do your own due diligence.

I know of 1 in Arnica renting 1.8K unfurnished. And a friend's fully furnished at Arnica also empty since April. Asking 1.9K. You can try calling those ads on mudah.

Ya I think it's a part of the golf course. But during construction, there was quite a big foreign workers camp right by the edge. Who knows how much.. "human sewage" discharged into the the lake. It used to be a big source of mosquitoes too, although somehow not it's reduced. I think still the cause of a lot of small flies though.

It would be good if Tropicana discuss with the golf course to jointly clean and beautify the lake and lakeside. Add some landscaping, some exercise equipment/kids playground. It would so much better for the mall too. Now the restaurants with the view can see the yucky lake, not very appetizing.

Yes 3 rooms in Kota Damansara.

4-5k asking rental for Tropicana Gardens (by listing) can be just less than 1%? If ya then CBD is a better bet.
*
Hello. Obviously you're exaggerating. Less than 1%?

3 rooms "in KD" is different from "3 rooms in TG". Unless that KD 3rooms has thriving Village Grocer and restaurants right below, and connected to MRT, similar facilities and security.

Are you talking about those low/medium cost apartments? RM1,400 also can get. Kancil compare to Continental.

You can find really cheap 3 rooms within 15 min from KLCC too.

Just as a note, TIME installer mentioned that the fiber optic cable quality reading for Cyperus and Dianthus is above 20. Which means less signal quality. Arnica and Bayberry is ard 18, which is better.

Also for the bigger units, Arnica & Bayberry have LAN (ethernet) port connected to the living room. C & D does not. Is this true?
