QUOTE(hirano @ Aug 18 2016, 10:23 PM) nazq is your senior BBA Logistics. good thing extension and electric kettle is allowed ^^/ ... back in my matric days, they always do spot check stuff and once they found it, they will throw this stuff from 3 floor gg, need to prepare then ... any more advice for item for me to bring? Need to prepare some entertaiment since uum is university in forest rightAnd myself is your former ketua blok in DPP Bank Rakyat. Both have grad already though. Yes iron is not provided. There is just a basic room (with single bed + cupboard + study table). Everything else bring them yourself (blanket, extra pillow if u want, pail, toiletries, extension plugs, lots of coins for washing machine and water, electric kettle, broom, umbrella, etc). Pls note they dont allow you to cook inside the dorm (if you pandai to hide the cooking stuff, possible). Entering UUM, bear in mind that you will need to wear formal, even to the clinic. And since the main campus is quite big, either you bring a motorcycle or your legs will develop fine muscles from walking haha. i think i will take the bus bcause there's no way i will bring motorcycle from slangor to kedah ... it is a looong journey, sad life >.T QUOTE(nazq @ Aug 19 2016, 12:02 AM) not sure if i should be happy or not to get bank rakyat as dpp, i research it a bit and find more cons than pros ... from what i know, this dpp is calm place and aways from noise but i heard the bus system is not really good, always pack with people in the morning and cafe menu is limited anddd this dpp is outside campus, hope i will not always ponteng haha ... sorry if i wrong yaa o.obtw hello senior o// Still new to this add and drop system since this is my first time in U , so may i know what subj u take in first sems bcause many blogg said first sems u need to study hard and score perfect This post has been edited by BluezX: Aug 19 2016, 06:07 PM |

QUOTE(hirano @ Aug 19 2016, 10:57 PM) A pail and brush are wajib. You wont know if there's situation where you will need to hand wash your clothes. Pack of foods, extra set of ties (if you're a male). I stayed there with basic necessities, no issue. Bus is always a problem, get use to sardine situation. Always wake up early. You will need 80% minimum attendance to pass, so you cant always ponteng. Regarding subjects: 1st sem you wont have much difference than other business courses students. My advice: Dont always follow your friends, what they take may not be suitable for you. You know your strengths and weaknesses in subjects, so adjust the subjects that you take for that. I hated business math but law subject was easy for me. What i did was to mix easy and hard subjects in every sem. Full 7 subjects per sem, because i dont want to burden my final sem later on. This also was a precaution in case i failed any subjects, because you will need to retake the subjects in the next semester (but thank goodness, i never failed any) Freshies who dont know anything will just take whatever subjects assigned to them in their 1st sem, but dont do that. Remember my advice above. QUOTE(nazq @ Aug 20 2016, 03:06 AM) hirano's advice is very spot on, so just take it into consideration. ouh sorry for the late reply tho, busy nowdays .... thxn u both of you for giving the advice.... tomorrow will be the registration of UUm but I'm a bit sad bcause it seems like i'm the only one taking logistic in ddp bank rakyat based on the ws group of dpp bank rakyat ... i heard logistic intake is not too many people compare to general businees adminstration, hope i can arrange the best sub in sems 1 in add drop weekAs for Logistics & Transportation/BBALT, I believe the course structure is different now compared to when I enrolled back then so I'm not aware for any new requirements and such. Back then, Transport Theory & Practice is prerequisite before taking further logistic subjects so try to ask if it's possible to enroll in your first sem. Also, for BBALT it will be recommended if you're registering for CILT and enroll in Ejen Kastam course as an add-on before you grad, which I believe the lecturers will brief you all about it later on. BBALT lecturers and classes is enjoyable for me back then, so I hope you'll get a similar experience. Anyway, welcome to UUM and do enjoy yourself there. A bit sad that you've to stay in Bukit Kachi though This post has been edited by BluezX: Aug 27 2016, 07:54 AM |

QUOTE(hirano @ Aug 27 2016, 08:44 AM) Dont forget to mix the subjects. And also arrange based on location. So that you wont have to walk far between each subjects QUOTE(nazq @ Aug 27 2016, 02:49 PM) Yeah, I do have similar opinion that logistic program have small students intake each year. My batch was around 120 students back then. Quite a few will be foreigner students enrolling too. just finish the orientasi week, tomorrow start class o.o, intake for logistic sem 1 is only 85 student huhu ... wifi here is a bit fast i think , can stream youtube well but stuck2 a bit laa ... and tomorrow will see how the bus operate at bukit kachibtw for my timetable , i already have 16 credit hours including ko k, i wonder should i add more one more subject since almost all subject now is teras sunject This post has been edited by BluezX: Sep 3 2016, 11:46 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(hirano @ Sep 3 2016, 11:55 AM) Did you susun the schedule yourself or follow whatever is given to you? You should add 1 more subject, since all you took this sem are all very easy QUOTE(nazq @ Sep 3 2016, 01:15 PM) yeap already ask about the avaibility of transport theory and practice but it seem that class already full ... so i just add english to complete it for 19 hours credit |

QUOTE(hirano @ Sep 6 2016, 07:14 PM) I foresee you will struggle in the next few sems. hmm nothing i can do about it, i try to take your guys advice but it seem that transport theory and practice aready conquered by senior hmm and add drop week already closed huhu ... If sems 1 easy as you guys said, maybe i will try to join some club in the campus ... i heard the hope day will be organised at 27-29 this septemberTransport theory and practice is what you should rebut first, since it is a pre-requisite subject for BBALT subjects. If you only start this on 2nd sem, you will have to jumble all the harder ones in 1-2 sems later. If me, i add all the way to 21credit hours. Thats what i did. 19 too few QUOTE(nazq @ Sep 7 2016, 12:40 AM) well that's a pity, but kinda expected. indeed normally students took transport theory & practice on 2nd sem. Okayy, my pleasure to share ^^by the way, any chance you can share recent syllabus for BBALT here? QUOTE(megadisc @ Sep 7 2016, 06:45 PM) i heard all the easy ones already in the sem 1 syllabusThis post has been edited by BluezX: Sep 10 2016, 12:45 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
