I bought a bunch of weights and a barbell bar today. The rubber plates are new and enclosed with boxes. Problem is the weights are still damn greasy and dirty. Whenever I touch them my hands get dirty and greasy. Tried to wipe the greases off with toilet papers but still greasy as hell.

when i bought mine last time i had to wash with soap lol
i think the reason the grease is used is so that the rubber wont stick to each other.

how much you buy the rubberized plates and barbell bar?

The bar itself RM70. Plates RM8 per kg. I bought 60kg and you do the math.
Btw i bought from a shop instead of fitness concept or any shopping centers.

An olympic barbell (7 feet with 2" diameter) or the normal barbell (1" diameter)?

Wanted to buy olympic size but too long no place to store so I bought the normal size one.
