Question!

How to do well or 8.0 specifically for the reading section? In need of serious tips, all these years of studying have made me used to reading in my pace and not rushed like in IELTS exam condition.

I tried skim reading through the passages due to the time constraint but don't think it's really good strategy for me, doubt I can finish in time if I want to read the whole thing properly.

I'm doing academic test btw since I'm more used to the 1st section of writing test that writing letter.

but did you manage to read the whole three passages? If it's achievable then at least I know where to look at. I read somewhere online that I only have enough time to skim read and quickly answer the questions, that seems to be the case the last time I tried IELTS but don't seem to work very well for a good score.
