I own the S530D

I can say DA5000pro is louder than S530D

and both is loud enough to shake large living room
S530D sounds better but then again... 5.1 vs 2.1 isn't fair

how about a 3rd satellite for Aego M centre? will that something like a minor upgrade for you? or you want some other sound signature altogether?

look at your aego m subwoofer and you will notice the centre is not connected.
all you need to do is find another aego m satellite and plug it in like the right and left side.

i planning to get edifier s330d but there are more good comment about C3 ...hmmmm... someone enlightens me pls .. primarily for music .. listen to all kind of music from Dubstep to slow and pop song ... also need strong bass as i am a dancer .. ^__^

In terms of sound, yes the Edifier M1360 should be better since it has more wattage and has subwoofer (which gives a better low frequency and bass ambience). Small portable speakers tend to sound "thin" and less louder (more like a small radio box). If you have a small and very quiet room, then sound reflections within the room can sometimes cause small portable speakers to sound more expansive. Thus generally if you want good loudness and some bass, then always opt for the more powerful speaker system (which is that Edifier M1360)...

For around RM200, better look at Edifier M3400. Looks can be deceiving, may not look pretty but sounds much better...

Nopes, depends on the audio load. Unless you feed the speaker with a continuous 50Hz sine wave at FULL volume.

You could try changing the rear satellites with dipolar speakers (to enhance the rear surround effects). That would make it "7.1"...   

Just change speakers, also some rewiring. Experiment with different speakers...

I wish Edifier would spend a bit more on quality components, especially on certain parts like the main power smoothing/filter capacitor. Speaking from experiencing badcap problem on my M3300 (low level buzzing), which I replace the capacitors myself (with Nichicons).

Please note that bipolar and dipolar speakers are different. Also dipolar (or dipole) speakers are favored for THX approved theatre sound systems (although many HTIB and run-of-the-mill home theatre setups ignores it). if your soundcard has an extra slot for 7.1 then you can do it

volume control would be a double task though. Unless you're using the volume control on your device/pc

from what I know
if pc just plug into one single port

usually for a 7.1 setup you'll plug into your grey port for side speakers (since your black port is used for rear already)
