I dont know whether this is the correct section to ask but still I do really need some help. I'm currently using Armaggeddon Ultra A7 as my 2.1 speaker setup but unfortunately my speakers satellite having some problem recently.. there's like some kinda buzzing sound when i'm watching movie / playing music / games. It irritates me and I was wondering is there anyway to replace my satellite speaker yet keeping my subwoofer ? Sorry for troubling u guys, hopefully sifus here will be able to help and solve my problem. Below is my attachment of my speakers.

currently using sonic gear armageddon ultra A7 unfortunately sudah kaput

shifting house by this month hence want to look for a better spec of speaker compare to my current A7

budget - above $500 below $900

not sure to go for 2.0 or 2.1, any reference for this ?

currently looking for a few models which is indicated below such as

1. swan m50w 2.1

2. creative gigaworks T3 2.1

3. corsair sp2500 2.1

4. razer mako 2.1

5. m audio av40 2.0

6. swan mkII 2.0

dilemma in between all these choices which is available and pricing is close

purpose - 50% movie / 30% music / 20% gaming

all these while when im using armageddon ultra A7, I realize the treble is doomed / bass is overwhelming that is covering the vocals

so I need a new set of speaker whereby with clear vocals / treble & rich bass

ps: not a bass head, just that when Im watching movie I want my room felt like a lil bit cinematic ( small room with big table ) no sound card, using z87 msi gaming series mobo

but I saw those online review states that sp2500 is quite bassy, is that true ?

hmm, I prefer something which is .. good in vocal yet subwoofer is something like .. tight bass. ( cinematic feel ? Idk how to describe sorry )

did check on creative T3 and the vocals that I heard is quite clear and the bass felt clean ( sometimes a lil bit overwhelm ) but sadly unable to control the bass if not will go for it.

any conclusion on M audio av40 / swan m50w / swan mkII / corsair sp2500 / creative gigaworks t3 / razer mako

comparism between spec to spec / future proof / life span ?

which one is more for movie and music ? gaming I think not much as I have no time for that after movie time haha

Okay, currently I'm in dilemma whether which set to go for.

For Edifier s530d I've considered before but somehow there's a lot of review stating that the treble is very high which is clear along w a weak bass of subwoofer. So I might afraid that if I use it to watch tons of movie, I can't feel that cinematic thrill. I do watch a lot of HD movie / series and do listen to music as well like r&b / kpop / English oldies / 80's 90's Cantonese or either Chinese song. As for game I don't demand that much of specific needs but mainly for movie / series and music. Game is the least I spend time on it so I won't ask much for like footstep clarity and so on so its okay for me. I just wanna have a quality time for me to watch movie and listen to music.

As for now, my list would be m audio av40, swan m50w, corsair sp2500

Any suggestion among my choices ? Pros and cons ?

Additional choice would be klipsh promedia 2.1 to the least would be creative gigaworks t3 but still hais dilemma.

I really need some help out here. Any sifus or experts who read this kindly help lil one here out as I've been a silent reader reading through this thread since the first page till here and so on. I saw a lot of Edifier and HK being recommended but I don't think that's what I want for since I've already mention out my few kind of speaker sets that I'm currently considering. Spend time on reviews but still no conclusion yet. Help help help :/
