Hi guys, looking for a 2.1 speaker for my laptop, for music and movies, budget 200~250, room size 4m x 5m read through few last pages, apparently M3300SF is a good choice possible to get a speaker that supports bluetooth input at this price range? found M3280BT, but it cost over 300++, is it a good choice? i'm in KL, which mall will have more selection? thx guys p.s. audiophile noob here, first time getting a decent speaker to stimulate my auditory senses This post has been edited by nasiayam: Oct 17 2014, 11:04 AM

QUOTE(lex @ Oct 17 2014, 11:01 PM) For around that range, that would be Edifier M3300SF. And bit more at around RM290 would be Edifier R1600TIII. If you want Bluetooth functionality, then I would suggest getting a Bluetooth receiver (to pair it with your favorite audio equipment or active speaker system). As for that Edifier M3280BT model, have not heard it yet thus can't comment on its sound quality. As always, try testing/auditioning those speakers first before buying... What would be the advantages of R1600TIII vs M3300SF ? In your opinion, worthy to spend extra 50 on R1600TIII? thank you so much for answering bro! QUOTE(lex @ Oct 18 2014, 11:43 AM) The Edifier R1600TIII has a secondary input (that can be used for an external Bluetooth receiver) plus should have better midrange compared to Edifier M3300SF. If you are not willing to spend that extra RM50 (and use that for Bluetooh receiver budget) then can stick with Edifier M3300SF... The cables are included with the speaker package, and they are usually pretty adequate. If you are afraid of audio degradation then can get more expensive 3rd party cables or DIY ones (with thicker cables and gold plated connectors). There too many to choose from, mostly these Bluetooth receivers cost around RM100 and below that. Don't expect great sound quality from Bluetooth connections though... thanks for the reply bro, realize i can connect phone to laptop using bluetooth and able to play music from phone through speakers connected to the laptop, since the RCA to AUX cable is also included, bluetooth and input not a concern at the moment will drop by lowyat later to check out R1600TIII and M3300SF thx a lot bro This post has been edited by nasiayam: Oct 18 2014, 12:09 PM
