looking for a speaker with good bass RM300+-

Guys, my old Klipsch GMX 2.1 died... need recommendations to buy new 2.1 speakers. Budget arround 700RM.

Wow... that mid range speakers are very big. Any smaller size speakers to recommend which fit under my dell 2414HM?

other than the ones that I have mentioned. Any other recommendation? My room is about 2.6m x 2.5m x 3.3m. Its not very big, so I think 2.0 or a 2.1 system should suffice. Budget is up to RM1500. Will I need any soundcard or additional accessories?

Sifu please advice me out. I currently own m3300sf and i feel want to upgrade my speaker (budget 400 to 500). I currently using laptop realtek onboard sound card. It is better to upgrade external sound card and stick to m3300sf or buy c3? My primary usage is on music and movie and Prefer treble over bass. C3 or s33d better?

That one need new forum. Anyway, I was going to recommend him M50w, but he said movie and gaming etc. While M50w is more to music. My gaming and movie era already end. 

I watch with headphone or anything in front of me. Haha... And yep cinema, old school guy bah... I listen music more than the time I spend for movie so music more important. Last time used to spent time more on game and movie. Anyway, I missed my SP 2500 bass. The rumbling, fuh! With your kind of setup of course can enjoy movie.

What you mean rattling? I never have this issue. But key and coin rattling, yep. Haha... You mean hollow sound? What music is that? I never have this issue. The only problem I faced is the bass is large in quantity but not enough impact. I like tight and powerful bass which is important to my ears for music. While SP 2500 got this powerful but loose bass which is good for cinema like bass. And now my R1900Tiii, need to extend my hand to adjust the volume.

Anyway, why changed?

Bro..went over some shopping malls to check out edifier..and seems like not many carry them. I couldnt even see either the R2800 or E30...so hav no idea how it's gonna sound like.

On the other hand, there are a handful of altec lansing and logitech for 2.1...

on 5.1, there's this pioneer on promo...sounds really good...5.1 + amp for RM2.7k available both at Harvey Norman and Sen Q..most probably i will be getting this set since the price looks ok....the only problm is the 5.1 cables..gonna be pretty messy.... So bro u have any idea on this set?

Though i am good with 2.1 from altec lansing as well coz my fren recommended the Octane 7 coz he's using it..and he say it's pretty good..and cheap at around RM300+...

my budget's around 2~3k..but if can get a good one at 300+..then why not...can use the balance money to get a yamaha mini hifi at RM1.55k...still got change at rm2k.. lol

I just bought the M3300SF and realized the bass is kinda weak. But most importantly, the vocals are too strong, covering up the instrumental alot, which wasn't really suitable for me

Just wondering is there any other speaker that has a balance in all those 3? Was thinking of trying the S330 since many people recommend it. Any users can give advice on whether it will suit me?

If I can set to lower the vocals in the M3300SF that would be good, no need so much trouble

Actually after some testing just now, I realized the problem is with the subwoofer. Its like all edifier subwoofer's bass is the 'boom boom' type rather than the 'thump thump' type (its hard to explain, thats the best i can put it in words). Can advice on which brand and model has the 'thump thump' type subwoofer? Or is it changeable by other means?

Yea the m3300sf bass is super weak, but I'm not sure what type of bass it is coz it so weak i cant hear it properly But after a few times listening by placing the woofer at different location, i feel the m3300sf is the thump type. I was actually looking for a bass like the one on the Sonic Gear Evo 7 Pro. Do you know what type is it?

So the bass for the M3400 and P3080M is stronger than the M3300SF? For some reasons when I listen to the C3 i felt that its worse than the HCS2330, maybe that unit is faulty?

And yes, i made sure all speakers are off and the surrounding is silent before testing
