any tips to ensure the speaker last long??

pc volume low, speaker volume max.
blast the thing out loud for few hours, that what i do on every purchase

ohh.. if i set the pc volume to 50 ..ok x??

if i connect the speaker to my galaxy y, ok right if i max the hp volume to max and play it through the speaker

just play ur preference song with ur standard loudness volume

or just download the "pink noise" or "white noise" and play it continuously (loop) and cover ur satellites with blanket / shirt.. i can't recall the proper method to burn-in

you start from low to medium volume no matter phone or pc
keep the speaker knob at high

whatever it is... burn in is for the speaker to exercise/move so that it is able to break free from the glue n such....

so that it moves better... something liddat.

it's like exercise therapy for coma ppl who sleep too long

Guys... Any comparison for JBL spot vs JBL creature III which much better for gaming and music in overall? I saw there are many bad comment on both speaker.

much better in gaming. the JBL only suits music and for gaming it isn't much of a joy

JBL spot & creature are just too tiny to be called as proper speaker.
heck even a headphone is bigger than those

Both the JBL Spot and Creature are being designed as near field speakers. they sound really good when you are at seated at your desk right in front of them

This Edifier model is more for music. Clean sound though slightly bright (ie. the treble is very pronounced). Any high frequency nuances can be heard. Some may find them a bit "too sharp" for their liking. With these speakers, no need to play around with audio treble nor equalizer settings to get the higher frequencies...

Nice bass, but treble lacking (no tweeter).

This one is for bass heads (those who loves booming-type bass). Unfortunately it lacks clarity. With these speakers, you will need to play around with audio treble and/or equalizer settings to bring out the higher frequencies from the speakers...

Just play any music normally and at a comfortable volume.

Don't blast them at maximum volume for long periods...

Hi, Im looking for a good 2.1 speaker system. Currently I'm using Sonic Gear spectra 200x. after 4 years of usage it started to have buzzing sound once in a while and when it did the sound will be slower. Need to turn off the speaker and turn it on again to make it return to normal.

Budget is about less than RM130

I'll be using it mainly for movies & gaming. I'll listen to music once in a while & the room size is roughly about 4.5X3 meters.

i would like to ask a recommendation for good 2.0 speakers for my pc... my budget is below 1.5k.

i dont play game, seldom movies. just wanted the speaker purely for my music which are more to Jazz, Classical Music and Instrumental. especially the jazz part when the sound of of trumpet really clear, refreshing and clean like being played in front of your face.
