Old-ish news, but a significant one since it involves our talented youth players.

6 Barca youth players banned from competitive matches by FIFA.

QUOTE
Soccer ruling body FIFA ordered Barcelona to stop fielding six foreign players under the age of 18 because their signings don’t comply with its regulations.

South Korea’s Lee Seung Woo, 15, and Cameroon’s Patrice Sousia, who plays in an under-13 category, are among youth-team players who have stopped competing while Barcelona appeals the decision, a club official said by telephone today.

FIFA didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment. Under FIFA rules, soccer clubs can only field minors from another continent if their parents are living in the same country for reasons not linked to soccer.
The Barcelona official didn’t provide details of the family situation of the six children.

The six remain at Barcelona’s famed “La Masia,” or “Farmhouse,” school, which provides education and full-board along with soccer coaching, the official said. About one-third of the 72 children at the school are from outside Spain. The school developed Argentina’s Lionel Messi among other players that helped Barcelona win three Champions League titles since 2006.

Barca in injury-crisis in the defence department. After both Adriano and Puyol ruled out for over a month, now this:

QUOTE
Alba could have a muscle tear. More tests tomorrow. Out for France game, doubtful for PSG game in ten days. #fcblive [catalunya radio]

QUOTE
If new tests tomorrow confirm the thigh muscle tear, Jordi Alba will return to Barcelona #fcblive #brazil2014 [rac1]

Congratulations Messi has now scored against all 19 teams in the league in 19 consecutive games
*
CR became the 1st player to score against all 19 teams in the league last season, iirc.

And Messi already bettered that by doing the same, but in consecutive games. rclxms.gif

Edit: Conceded in the 88th minute and drew the match 2-2 sad.gif

But... biar hilang mata penuh, jangan hilang rekod Messi rclxm9.gif

Barça make it to 300 games in a row with more than 50% possession

QUOTE
For almost five years, no team has ever managed to have more possession in a game against Barça.

With 64% of the possession at La Romareda, Barça have now dominated the possession in no ferweert than 300 consectiuve matches. Not since May 7, 2008, nearly half a decade ago, has any team had more possession than barça ion any six different competitions. The last team to out-possess FCB was Real Madrid, way back in the second to last game of the 2007/08 season, when they edged it with 50.5 %.

Every match

Since then, Barça have played 185 Liga matches, 62 in the Champions League, 39 in the Copa del Rey, 8 in the Spanish Supercup, 4 in the Clubs World Cup and 2 in the European Supercup. Undert three different managers, Frank Rijkaard (2), Pep Guardiola (247) and Tito Vilanova (51), Barça have always been in control.

Sos Cili

p.s. I only copy and paste the quoted paragraph. The typo "ferweert" has nothing to do with me. It should be "fewer" instead.

4-0 man... Will need to win 4-0 in Nou Camp to even force extra time. 4-0 vs THIS Bayern? Might as well as use the 2nd leg to blood young players like Deulofeu, Tello, and Bartra.

We won La Liga liao after RM drew with Ass-Spank-Yo. But I no feel excited. The shadow of the 0-7 spanking by Bayern is too heavy...

That's the second CB leaving. I'll really rage if no new CB is signed or if Adriano converted to CB. vmad.gif vmad.gif

Official: Victor Valdes will give a press conference on Friday at 11:00 @barcastuff

Oh joy, possibly more departures. Something's wrong in the background of FCB. Too many homegrown players and staff leaving.

Valdes: "My apologies for these months of silence. I'm aware I owe the fans an explanation about why I won't renew my contract."
Valdes: "Barça gave me everything, this has been my home for 20 years. But the pressure as goalkeeper here is huge.
Valdes: "Psychologically I'm exhausted. I feel that my cycle at the club ends in 2014. That's what I told the club. It is not a money issue."
Valdes: "It's an honour the club wants me to continue, but the decision is final. I think the club has enough time to look for a successor."
Valdes: "I will wear and defend this shirt and this crest with honour until the last day, as I have done since the first day."
Valdes: "I see myself playing in other leagues, looking for another motivation."
Valdes: "I don't go into tomorrow's game as if it could be my last game. That's not the feeling I have now.
