I buy mapletree commercial solely because i like vivocity. Its the largest shopping mall in sg and pack with people everyday.

Just like people buy IGB Reit because of Mid Valley blush.gif

Will be getting my first quarterly dividend for SPHreit... rclxms.gif

This is a boring reit but it provideds a stable dividend every quarter.

Quarter dividend is 1.4% and can expect 5.5% to 5.7% every year.

Exdate for this quarter dividend is 12 April.

Bought Mapletree NAC Tr $1.29 yesterday after falling sharply due to protests in HK. Hope law and order in HK soon for mapletree to return above $1.40. Today close $1.33

I have been in and out this counter many times since early last year. The cheapest i bought last year was $1.12 but sold $1.22. Then its price shot up to above $1.40. I also bought at $1.30 and sold at $1.45.

All other reits I bought also move up a lot except First Reit which i suffered losses.

On hindsight i would have keep for long term to earn more. But my hand just itchy to press the sell button after seeing the price goes up. Sometimes may get lucky also e.g. bought Mnac 1.30 sold 1.45 and now able to buy back at 1.29
