I also didnt know there is difference between Cash Account & Cash Upfront Account until my account was ready.

Cash Account is not entitled for the current promo for SGD10/trade. I tried it and in the summary it is shown that per trade charge is sgd25. You will ge given a trade limit and once your trade is enforced, you will be given 3 days to pay. (this is what DBSV CS told me when I called)

Cash Upfront Account means you will need to transfer the money first from DBS to DBSV before you key in any trade you wish to make. You can only access this account by first log in via DBS, there is a tab under investment.

observation of VBP as I have a client whose office has been there like forever.

It has underwent a major renovation and Decalthon occupy a really big space for retail. Back then there is just one underground cafe for f&b, after the renovation they have pull in a few f&b and they even have burger king now.

I believe there is 4 blocks of building in VBP and if they managed 95%, I would say it is quite impressive.

I have an acc with them for instrant transfer to CIMB Msia. Back then it was 0.8% but t&c was that you need to have $100 increment every month on your balance

what are your take on soilbuild?

I know their major issue is the prop at loyang way, hard to get tenant for o&g biz. but I read that that prop contribute about 10% of reit income. assuming I discount 20% on dpu at current price it is still looking at >7% return. This number should improve if they can get a new tenant?
