if direct CDP with Singapore address. Yes. hv to go SG and do the necessary via atm.

Direct CDP without Singapore add.. the rights will be AUTO-SELL.

if Std Chart, or MKE.. which is NOMINEE.. just a PHONE CALL only.. they will do everything at NO charge!.
*
i see... so the preferred solution that make sense for many of us, is to open Std Chart or MKE nominee acc... they are no different compared to MY platform like CIMB (also nominee acc), just that no dividend handling fee and lower brokerage fee...

But bros's and sis',... actually what we are talking abt here is getting pointless,... because it is not easy to open direct bank accounts in SG anymore,... I think today, if you do not have one of the few targetted bank accounts with CDP, you can't even open a CDP account.

I think soon, they will want higher amts for one to open a nominee account in SG.
*
In the case where I have already a bank account (with OCBC) in SG, can I open Stan Chart or MKE nominee account directly? I don't want to open a CDP acct due to the troubles mentioned above (Rights Issue autosell if no SG address etc)

Although I've been in SREITs for 8 years already, the past year has been a very key lesson in the importance of corporate governance. When times are good, all boats rise together carried by the tide... But when tough times arrive, what Warren Buffet said comes to mind- You only find out who is swimming naked when the tide goes out. biggrin.gif

The Mapletrees and Capitalands have done well against the broader market while you have Lippo related REITs on the other end. Some of these things can't be learnt from textbooks or even blogs, but through experiencing it first hand yourself.

By using your chart above, dpu year-over-year has been growing till the 2019-09-03 payout. This payout dipped from SGD 0.0157 on 2018-08-16 to a lower SGD 0.01547 on 2019-09-03.

Let's see the 4QFY19 reporting this evening.

As of now, the price has risen to $0.740 per unit.
*
Gross revenue and NPI increased, but DPU dropped due to weak RMB...

Resilient portfolio performance with 7.5% and 3.2% growth in Gross Revenue and
Net Property Income respectively
• Completed acquisition of Fuzhou E-Commerce, a high-quality integrated ecommerce logistics asset for RMB1,112.5 million
• Successfully refinanced existing borrowings, significantly extending debt maturity

Singapore, 7 November 2019 – EC World Asset Management Pte. Ltd., as manager of
EC World Real Estate Investment Trust (“ECW”) (the “Manager”) wishes to report a set of
resilient operating performances amidst challenging macroeconomic climate. Portfolio
occupancy remains strong at 99.2% while gross revenue and net property income both
registered healthy gains. As a result of technical timing difference between the loan
drawdown and completion of acquisition of Fuzhou E-Commerce and depreciation in RMB,
DPU declined by 5.2%.

Interactive broker. More accurate the whitelabels of it (tradestation global). Reasons for using Whitelabels.
1. My monthly commision don't come up to USD10/month.
2. I don't have USD100k to park with them.
3. I refuse to pay the USD10/month fee

Reason for choosing interactive broker over Singapore/Malaysia brokerage.
1. No pesky dividend/quarterly platform fees. Some of them take 1% of your dividend. Doesn't make sense to pay them 1% of your dividend just for them to hold your stocks. Again doesn't make sense to pay them quarterly/yearly platform fees just for them to hold your stocks.
2. The only broker with world wide access which a Malaysian can open. No questions asked. No pesky requirement like local address in that respective country/no need for work permit requirements.
3. Super cheap commision rates of few dollars about $1-2 per transaction.
4. Spot exchange rate (real time and real rares). Even if you are a priority banking customer, banks aren't going to give you spot exchange rate. So you have already outmanevour many priority banking customers.

Thanks...This one?
