i would say the director is trying to spread positive messages throughout the movie.

there're 2 lines of quotes that are particularly worth pondering :

"出来行，行得好就做大佬；行得唔好就早di上路。"

"真正嘅强大，系内心嘅强大。
放下仇恨，心自然强大"

And the initial reason the 5 good buddies joined gangster group was because they believed that by doing so they would be free of bully by others.


btw i just realized that the director is multi-talented; like lots of things also 1-leg-kick .. music composing, song writing, video editing etc .. in addition to the movie directing.

And btw the background music are great !
