QUOTE(dynames07 @ Oct 7 2012, 10:34 AM)
oh suddenly i came underfire haha

chill guys. just my opinion la..

the intention is clear from roman that he want an attractive attacking football. we did won last night but do you realize how silent the stadium become after the third goal? it was not even half-time yet.

i am not saying we need to win 10-1 but this is norwich. we got a lot of possession but does the possession came to something? we got only 9 shots on goal for the massive 70% possession. it is against small team like this we need to show our flair because when against big team, it will severely be limited.

i rest my case here. afterall, it was just my opinion.
*
ya i know..nothing harm bro thumbup.gif i only watch 2nd half (1st half didnt watch..got selangor kelantan hehe)

but to be honest..the intention of city is quite clear..
when mikel/lampard got the ball .. almost nobody of city players come to pressure him..so he can just hold the ball and make some boring play.i admit..it was fking frustrating when the game become so slow..esp after i just started to watch the game!! mad.gif biggrin.gif

city just park the bus and hoping some quick counter ..remember a 2nd city goal cud really change the game. we dont want that to happen..we'll be falling into the trap if we commit people upfront when 3 pts are more important

u see how spain with their boring tiki taka tactic? they're so good with 1-2 passes..so they 'need' people to pressure them so the back will be spacious & open..then they will punish u.

city the other way around...hoping CFC lose the ball at final third and makes quick counter..the intention is quite clear coz when our defence / dm got the ball..almost none city players pressure the ball.

after iva scored, their game plan hancur edi.. and with nothing to lose..the showboating of classes from our midfield begins (more players can commit upfront..coz almost nothing to lose edi) thumbup.gif

p/s my opinion only la..coz 2nd half i admit quite boring..1st half i didnt watch

Chelsea is now an attacking based team. Last night we attacked alot, but not to our maximum force.
I agree that we still have problems with our double pivot as long as mikel plays. And also our defense (other that cole & Iva) is kinda clueless to pass the ball upfront now. I love the fact that Luiz made a few good runs.

Azpilicueta seems like a good crosser to be. Perhaps Iva to the double pivot & Cesar take his spot?

Great great performance by us. Impressed by how RDM integrate all the talents we have got in the squad. The holy trinity between Mata.Oscar.Hazard is just pure tasty huh? I am quite pissed with the referee for not giving any penalty to us. One of those challenge outside the box could easily be a free kick. Why not a foul in penalty box?!

If we don't rely Torres on goals, he's pretty useful. In my opinion, he did pretty well last night. Missed some chances but scored an important goal. A goal is a goal, sometimes we expected too much from him. It's great to see Lampard is much more disciplined in his positional play when bombing forward. Remember the game against atletico madrid? He was bombing forward whenever he wants, left too much space in the midfield.

On players football technique wise, our players are just PURE CLASS. No, I am not exaggerating but pure class is the exact word to describe them. Look at how the players play in that tight Norwich defense, it's hard to resist from comparing this play to Barcelona and so you must be thinking Chelsealona? No no,we are Chelsea and we play a better and a more interesting play than Barcelona.

I am VERY satisfied with the 4-1 win. Great performance, and most importantly, 3 points in the pocket, what else can we ask for?

Is great to see when hazard scores and that last goal from iva was pure class. He kinda has this striker type of finishing.

i'm still amazed why people cant see the important of mikel, he's start 250 games for chelsea with zero goals. 250 games is a lot!
he's a DM. when during set piece attack or corner where JT, Brana & sometime Luiz was up there, who's staying down to defend? always mikel there to cover. when Luiz made a few forward run, its Mikel whose cover CB position.

mikel is a problem only when he's off form.

lately since Lampard becoming more to holding midfielder, only we can see a slow transition from defensive to attacking. that's why mikel-ramires is the best combination for now. ramires tend to break/intercept lot of passes and attacking.

+1
Mikel is extremely important. Sometimes he's a bit clumsy with tackling and passing when he's off form. But he is very disciplined as a DM. He's almost never at the opponent's box, which is a good thing. He does his job in a very simple and neat manner. If everyone's attacking, who's going to provide the resistance when the opponent are on the counter.

Lampard is not the best option to play alongside Mikel. He's little bit off with his passing when he tries to keep up with the pace of the other AMs. But he still can provide some goods, like his positioning for his goal and also played a part in the Torres goal.

U dont put in a player who cant score goals unless he has something else to add to the team. With 250 games and no goals. Underlines how important mikel is to chelsea cause he is still being pick to play.

It amazed me how Ivanovic always manage to get himself in scoring position. That volley also is a pure class finish. Certainly a one of the great signing by Chelsea over the years. credit to Avram Grant though

mikel did well yesterday...i oso dont understand why all this negativity towards mikel? without him our midfield and defense will lack a lot....the only think hes bad to me when he shoot from outside always to the stands one...other than that hes good...

Neymar: Oscar wants me to join Chelsea

Santos star Neymar has revealed that Brazil team-mate Oscar has urged him to join Chelsea, while Dani Alves has been trying to convince him to move to Barcelona - describing both of them as "very good salesmen".

Neymar's future has been the subject of regular speculation over the past 18 months, with Barca and Real Madrid widely regarded to be favourites to sign him when he eventually decides to leave Brazil.

However, it now appears Chelsea could also be in the running as Oscar - who played alongside Neymar in Brazil's Olympic campaign in the UK during the summer - has been talking up the merits of life at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar is not alone in trying to lure the 20-year-old forward to his club, though; Barcelona's Dani Alves has been telling Neymar to pick the Catalans if he is moving to Europe.

"Oscar messages me to tell me what a great club Chelsea is and what a great city London is," Neymar was quoted as saying in The Sun. "He and Dani are both very good salesmen for their club.

"When the time is right I will listen to to the right offers that my agent has for me. It is very simple: if Barcelona are interested you listen, if Real Madrid are interested you listen, if Chelsea are interested you listen

"There are maybe five clubs in the world that you know you must at least listen to."

totally agree on mikel issue. efficiency is the keyword here. he is a DM and he functions as a DM. he do basic stuff, but he do it to perfections. no need to ask mikel for goals. he pay back with other way.

since the season starts, mikel is one of the player (beside iva) that prove my early season 'prediction' a bit off. mikel now seems a bit adventurous with his passes. last seaveral season, back pass and side pass is all he knows. now, he makes forward passes more often. and somehow, he is given more authority (and chances) to shoot. i think there is a chance he will break his goal drought this season!
