seriously I hope Chelsea would get a superb passer in the pivot.
without these any godly striker will become less effective. |

QUOTE(yinchet @ Oct 14 2012, 01:01 AM) seriously I hope Chelsea would get a superb passer in the pivot. Agree. I don't really like splashing lot of money on a striker. without these any godly striker will become less effective. A deep lying playmaker would be fantastic, but it's really hard to find these players nowadays. Modric is really a big miss. But anyway, Oscar has the ability though. |

Torres vs Falcao vs Neymar
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Personally I dont mind if we buy Falcao but I prefer us to bid for Neymar..Neymar still young and can be the main man for the future..he rarely play top striker..usually play at left side of the field..LW/S so we can keep Torres at main striker..because we already invest heavily on him..Neymar also have a sale value if we decide to cash him..Falcao will just create problem when we deal with Torres..I prefer to let Lukaku step up in a few years if Torres cant really do anything anymore.. |

QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Oct 14 2012, 06:10 PM) If only Lampard was good in the pivot as he was as an AM. Mata and Hazard play behind the stiker, and they are doing a superb job. What we need is a passer who plays deep, has pin point passing, reads game when attacking and defending, and constantly creating and starting up attacking plays. |

damn mahalnya 46mil, last time everyone dismissed him when he only cost around 20mil..should he fail to score in 3-4 games everyone will begin to moaning again. it will go in circle. Better find someone who cost much cheaper. What Modric doing in Madrid anyway? he'd better come to Chelsea. He perfectly will fit the double pivot role

Torres is doing okay atm but he keeps losing posession in the final 3rd. The way i see it our team is doing good already with 3 attacking midfielder even got enough cover in moses n marin. Ramires n mikel is doing great job as 2 anchorman. Defense have been superb as well. The only area not quite complete is the cf role. Torres miss too many chances n keep losing ball. Cant finish off a counter attack move also due to his pace n speed has deterioriate. Getting falcao would b final jigsaw in the puzle.

Getting falcao would b final jigsaw in the puzle. it just matter of time for him to have the touch of the striker back.from what I saw he seem to be gaining more midfield strength during his slump. Another thing I saw many top class striker miss crucial chance to perhaps is a norm like RVP, Zaltan and Higuaín. otherwise we will be seeing 10 goals in a games. Added on October 15, 2012, 8:27 amseem like no falcao QUOTE Chelsea wary of 'massive prices' A source has told ESPN that Chelsea are unlikely to replicate the extravagant money spent on Fernando Torres amid ongoing talk of a swoop for Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao. Chelsea spent £50 million on Torres to bring him to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool in January 2011, while this summer they were again active in the transfer market, landing the likes of Eden Hazard for £32 million. The Blues have been strongly linked with an interest in Falcao, with a £48 million asking price mooted, but the Champions League holders are conscious of UEFA's Financial Fair play rules. Regarding the Torres deal, a source told ESPN: "Chelsea will never pay such massive prices for a player again." Manchester City have also been mentioned as suitors for Falcao, who has scored eight La Liga goals this season, but it appears the club have other targets ahead of the January transfer window. The ESPN source added: "Paris St Germain don't want him (Falcao), and (City boss Roberto) Mancini wants (Stevan) Jovetic." ESPN This post has been edited by yinchet: Oct 15 2012, 08:27 AM |
