I decided to buy new pda. I am a student. So i just need medium class pda that price arround RM1000.
Actually, I like Axim 51. But because, I cant buy online so what is other choises? Anyone know how to buy Axim 51v offline? I mean got shop sell it?

Maybe i will go for Palm T|X. Any sugestion which one i better take?

it depends on your usage.....whether you preer windows mobile or PALM OS......big difference there....so choose according to your needs

Palm TX is good if u r juz using if for basic use..
multitasking,get Pocket PC..

for pocket pc,i recommend Hp ipaq rx3715 - Price RM999(LYP)
for Palm OS,i recommend either Palm TX - RM1288
or Lifedrive - RM1888

most of palm os pda still can't multitask like pocket pc.....

palm can do very minimal multitasking.....only some palm os pda can only play mp3 at the background at most...while others only allow one application at one time

for pocket pc pda....you can multi task like you use your computer.....open ms word/mp3/internet explorer/games/...so on......

Other choise is iPAQ rx1950 and rx3115. Really cheap and i think better than i chose rx3715 because i dont need camera. And also rx1950 use the new WM5.0. The only thing lacks from this ppc is the amount of ram.
Only 32mb, and maybe after run the os will take half.
How important ram for ppc? Means if not enuf ram i cant do alot of multitasking? What a ppc with 32mb ram can do?
So which one i better take rx1950 (less ram but with WM5.0 for future uses) or rx3115 (more ram but still 2003SE).

Need help to decide it.

although u dun need the camera,but think abt it,the specs r so good!
rx1950,i dun recommend,WM5 for that suk although after the latest update!
maybe u can try rx3715,rx2490,hx2750,hx2190 and hx4700...

its all up 2 u..

try to go with ppc with higher cpu speed...try to avoid anything within the range of 200MHz

listen 2 me..get rx3715..who knows,u might find the camera handy after some time!!

I suggest to take rx1950 series. I am using it and feel good.
Yes, you are right 1950 only come with 32 ram and +-50% usage will go to OS but in my opinion the performance still acceptable.

Just call Dell Online straight away. U still can purchase stuffz without using any credit card. They will explain to u how...

For those that keep mentioning multitask in pocket pc- can you pls give us some examples/apps where its useful to multitask?

listen to mp3 while surfing, and chatting using msn messenger. who knows u might want to use the camera at that time also. that's why multitask is important. sometimes while surfing u want to copy some text and add it to your note or events.

well if you dont need camera, and quite tight on budget, either go for rx3715 or h4150 (i doubt u can get this on the shelf anymore, but 2nd hand is available)

rx3715 got larger rom and cam, but h4150 got faster processor, and sleek design.

I dun mean to be rude but just surfin and listening to mp3 at the sametime will make your pda very very slow anyways, .......
