I have some gold in hand and try to sell it off in RMAH but the value is very low compare to few days ago.
Few day ago i saw it priced at USD1.70 per mil but now USD1.34?
Kinda sad now but few days back my paypal account is not ready yet.

Will it raise again? Should i wait?

supply and demand.. seems like supply went up and demand went down..

Its confirmed by many people that gold dropped by mobs are significantly reduced since patch 1.04.

why should it go back up when many have already geared up and many quit as well.

I heard from an avid botter that nobody bot for gold anymore but for legendary and p-level.
That, combined with nerfed gold drop, will surely impact the gold somehow.
Just my 2 posen, but rare gears not selling for squat might also contribute to gold demand later on.
rare not selling+less gold drop>occasional sucky legendary>casual fag turns to buy gold>demand goes higher.

For now maybe the slump of gold price is attributed by low demand+impatient gold sellers wanted to meet their profit.

I could be(very) wrong, though.The plevel might actually boosted the gold botters even with nerfed gold drop rate?

Why buy gold when you can farm the equipment yourself?

I haz sadding because even the nice equipment are not able to sell lately. Be it AH or RMAH.
Cmon, a 700dps 1H + socket + CD + Lifesteal can't sell for 5m and above (no main stat + lower dps's problem)

That's when ppl keep selling lower. It's caused the value drop do much. If I put sell USD 1.4, another fella put USD 1.38. Then he manage to sell it while my gold wait there do nothing. So if u sell at 1.35, then u will get to sell. See the reason ady?

Change ur strategy bro, like what I'm doing. Dun sell ur gold and start buy nice stuff. Then sell it on RMAH.
Last week I bought 1 weapon for 1.5mil and sold it for USD 12.

I'm not doing any recommendation here and follow at ur own risk cheerss.

The feelings is good when u can overbid others because u have so much gold.

Actually my main purpose playing this game is to earn RM lol (diablo lover dun angry ah )
My gear is currently enough to farm Act3 only, quite weak. But will upgrade when earn more.

no worry, i see many ppl invest in gears to farm effectively to get more drops to earn USD/MYR haha. but i am not the one. my gold doesn't ever exceed 3Million from the start until now.

I get the game, train to lv60 in 28hours (i heard some ppl is even faster ), then buy 15mil from friend and buy gears.
So far the reward is not bad . But addicting to the game, soon would not be earning RM but invest the gold to better gears

One of the forumer mention before. "the items has no value if no willing buyer to buy for that price". So no need to worry for overly expensive items. My items I sold all this while very cheap . All below USD 15. But I buy with few hundreds k or millions, still untung wat.. Cheapest I sold is USD 5, mean its worth 7mil ady.

Buy cheap and sell cheap. As long as gt profit, then it's already fulfill ur purposes to earn money ma.

sorry but im getting more, Paragon level +gold find. im at Paragon level 15... so automatically 45% more gold, with 5NV it goes up another 75%..
automatically got 120% gold find..... plus my gear..... not so sure..... but im getting more drop and more drop not lesser.

They nerf the gold drop rate probably taking into account of paragon level.

Also, gold price sucks because people have nothing to buy, so they hoard gold. No buying power means less being traded. Meaning less demand for gold... bla bla.

Frankly, I think people jumping from D3 to GW2 is a factor as well. less players... less sellers... and all that...

Every Tom d*** and Harry is placing their price ridiculously high in AH.

GOLD will not appreciate anymore unless there's new feature to attract players such as PVP.

GOLD Depreciate due to:

Supply of gold is like HUGE !

Less people purchasing gold because the game is bored

Less people purchasing gold because can get it cheaper outside the RMAH

Less people purchasing gold because there's almost nothing to buy anymore as mostly have GEARED for PVE.

The only gamble for it to Appreciate is PVP. Other than that... forget about it and move on to another game if u were one of them to earn a bit of cash from playing game.

alot of ppl leaving and playing something else... while those unchecked bots continue to ruin Gold's economy.

And also due to 1.05 anticipation... those that tried PTR 1.05 knows that wayy better gear will be available later on once this patch goes live. High MP (Monster Power) play will provide insane/OP loots for the player to sell.
