helllo,

does anybody here have any custom rack for their modem/routers and others?

i have my modem/routers/unifi set top box, bluray player, astro box placed just around the TV and i'm thinking of having custom rack for all of them to make it nicer

perhaps a rack with fans & blinking light will make it cool?

current setup look like this:

the way you placed your stuff looks just fine
adding fans to cool it doesn't really affect much other than attract dust tongue.gif
anyway i hang mine below my bookshelves to let passive air around my modem

another thing, if i put fans to the rack.. where should the air ventilation go?

blow air to the equipments? exhale the air from the equipment to the wall?

thanks!

Depend on those equipment ventilation hole. If top, blow from front to back (but harder to reach any button). If at the back, exhale the air from behind...
But it up to your preference too...

Accidental airflow will do leh. No need kot to add fan, unless it's a closed case.
