Hi LYN-er,

Recently I found that my tires worn off pretty much and getting ready to change. However, when I scout around, I found that choices of tires is limited. I'm currently on a 16" Rim + 205/60R16 - CC5 Continental. I seen 17 inch" kinda have wider choices or even 18"

My preference is to keep the tires maintenance price average (or low) in long run.

Any advice by anyone? sad.gif

If you don't mind you can go for 205/55/R16, less profile and wider choice as well.

Well, if 17 inch got tyres selections that can last longer than CC5 the one that I'm using, I'm can still consider them.

irregardless of what size you take, stay within 3%. you can do a quick online check via google to calculate tire sizes.

Continental tires are softer compound (comfortable) but they dont last as long as harder tires.

well... i duno about you bro, but tyres that generally last longer are not something i want to put on my wheels.

i would not upsize as i honestly think upping size to cut cost is not gonna work.

upping size only INCREASES cost as bigger tires cost more smile.gif
