Any one using rechargable battery for digcam? I am currently using Sony Super Quick Charger + 4 AA 2300mAh sony battery. RM75. Mind to share all your opinion towards other brand? Such as GP, Sanyo, Energizer, Duracell, Camelion and so on.

Original Sony charger with 4 Original 1700mah battery and 2 Original 2100mah battery

and currently ordering

i have 4 AA 2300mAh energizer rechargeable batt + 1 hour fast charger...which come together. very useful when u travel... which i brought 6 months ago... at carrefour RM168. recently i go back and see the price it was Rm180.
it is so great... i used it for my a70 canon digicam.
i shoot about 300 pictures plus before the batteries is running out of juice.

err... how do you know it's fake?

If that set is selling for MR75, it is likely fake. Check out lelong.com.....many such ones. There is no guarantee and the seller would not guarantee its original.

This only advice. Ignore if you don't like. But after you buy and use, you will know. It works, but 2300mh is more likely 1000mh. You will notice it takes <1h to fully charge 4x 2300mh, the manual says it takes >3h. Also, it wouldn't even last you 1/2 as long as original. Even if you buy 1 charger and 8 batteries, it will not give you as much power as 4x original.

Actually it is quite hard for us to recognize whether it is fake or not. I try to look at it, because of i had seen one Sony battery, lagi fake wan. So, i thought mine would be the original. So, normally for 2300 mAh Sony battery, how many photo plus flash light can we take. 100++ or more? I had use about 3 hours to fully charge the battery.


anyway, there are many good comment about Sanyo battery, as wel as energizer.

i'm using panasonic quick charger with 2400 mAh batteries...really can last very long......i took more than 300 shots + videos with my A610 in a day still last until nite.....
it cost me RM120.....

no SIRIM sticker for the Sony Charger= fake charger

light weight =fake battery (if u take the genuire 2300mah is more heavy)

and most important price is RM75 ,and only fake charger will sell wif tht price.

also use energizer quick chrger + 4AA 2300mah + 4AAA 900mah. no prob so far after around 1 yr

Thanks for the info. My charger really got no SIRIM sticker, and i look at behind, it can only charge till 1150mAh..aiyo...geramnya...the 4 2300mAh duno how to differenciate.

is there any recommendation on buying original wan? both charger and battery?

Fake also can use but just the terms battery not very good , dnt knw will spoil camera a not (I now using the fake battery for clock and remote control)

aiks....really hard to find SONY battery to determine. nvm, here i am going to post some pic of mine, which clearly shown the quality of this fake SONY charger and battery.


anyway, just as my experience, try not to buy battery from lelong.com.my, i mean for rechargable battery. and look carefully, sometimes they did label that their battery are "might be fake, buy at your own risk" in very small font. I think the bulk order from chris_x should be okie. i think wana get myself a few SANYO ori battery, if not, later spoilt the camera....

Sony fake charger cant charge Sanyo battery(I test cannot loh)

let me state, please becareful when you purchase batteries from lelong.com many of them are FAKES!!! Just note the prices it is being sold, amny are too good to be true!!!!i got conned b4 when i bought a box of sanyo 2300nm, their capacity was much less than my kodak 2000nm.

do not be penny wise pound foolish.. pay a little more and get it from the legitimate retailers.

bought 1 box sanyo battery (rm90) + sony quick charger (rm75) from lelong.com past few month....ALL FAKES...WTF, just waste my time to charge and waste letrik too.

put in my camera flash (full charge) but after few shot it die

just look closer the battery u will notise all text print are not so clear and some off-set abit..plus bottom part is diffeer from ori. just look carefuly when buy better still got the ori set fist then compare

i just trow them all (no eye see)

using panasonic too ... very good and fast charger too! definately better than GP. try checking out specialise panashop - normally cheaper than outside and sure get original.

I saw a lot of energizer rechargeble battery with charger at Watson and many shops in Tmn U Jusco. May be is quite convinient for ppl to buy this brand.
