ooppss, sorry, my bad, missing a 'D' , It is SUB10D, It looks like a big brother to M50W subwoofer. It is an active subwoofer right ?

This model belongs to the HT line still, not our realm. You can check out the H10, it's a very serious subwoofer, although it is not exactly cheap.

i was searching for a new set of speakers after my old Altec Lansing 5.1 system died after serving me for 7 years. R.I.P.

once i read all the local and international reviews on HiVi Swan, i couldnt help but hop straight to HeavyArms and got myself a M50W ... wahahaha.

2nd day of jamming now, cant wait for it to stretch its legs after warm up =D

You can pretty much skip everything and save up for the H5 + H10. Once the sub kicks in you will go home with it biggrin.gif

We can't demo at SetiaWalk? Cause my friend lives in Puchong and I Cyberjaya, might wanna try out since both of us need a speaker change soon and are starting to take in Audiophile poisons.

logged in an order for pair of X4 with heavy arms.

last week just collected Xonar Essence One for driving the X4 from another forumer, hopefully it would work out well.

my setup would be
PC USB(ASIO)>Xonar Essence One(Bal'd Out)>X4

other option would be
PC Optical(WASAPI)>Xonar Essencce One(Bal'd Out)>X4

Have you already bought the essence one? If not you should hunt for a better DAC. The X4 is very quiet and extremely detail as is. Even without running it balanced it's probably indistinguishable. I can't tell the difference running balanced vs unbalanced through my own Lavry DA11 (this thing is a heck lot better than the essence one). The X4 comes with unbalanced to XLR cable.

Not suggesting that you get something really expensive. Keep your options open and not buy into mass marketing branded products. You can always find something as good if not better. In fact, it's recommended that you use the speaker off on board sound to get an idea of its sound signature before plunking down any cash on a different source.

where I can get ST-2 actual measurement ?
from here
http://www.amazon.cn/%E6%83%A0%E5%A8%81-%E...I/dp/B001GIOFT2

Size: 33.3 x 73.5 x 37.9 cm

I want to know the base plate size, the one attach on the floor, I got limited space so it is better to know the actual measurement. 33.4x 37.9 doesnt make sense to me, is it ? TOO HUGE

We'd take the measurement for you and get back to this thread some time tomorrow.

Saw the M200MKIII once, tested and sounded wonderful. Though it was bigger than I had imagined.

Perhaps after CNY you'd have enough Ang pau to get it. If you give out any pau...oh well...

Check this out. Matching stand. Only 1 pair in Malaysia. Not for sale:

You can order the H4 anytime from Heavy Arm. The H10 is also available, 1 day to transfer the stock over.
