Hello all.

I need an advise.

My tyres are almost 1-year plus old. The thread on the front tyres are most worn that the ones at the rear.

However, I do not have enough money to replace all the four tyres.

Question is, as a temporary solution, is it okay to rotate (criss-cross) the front tyres to the back, and vice versa ?

And is it advisable to change two tyres first, and afterwards change the other two tyres?

advice from a car sales person when i first bought my car :
if your car is FF, you can exchange the front tyres to rear tyres when the front tyres are exhausted.....

so yeah.....

front tires -> throw away
rear tires -> bring to front
new tires -> put at rear

Yes. Since your front two tyres are worn out first I'm assuming you are driving a ff vehicle. However do note that you should be more careful when driving in the raincuz u get less traction. If u r changing two tyres only I suggest u put ur newest ones in the front for safety

Then take the spare tyre to be used as well?

Front engine, front wheel drive

depending on the build of your spare tyre,
the spare tyre should only be used when your tyre is puncture, and not meant to be used for daily driving.....
you better buy 2 new ones and do according to firr's instruction.
