You need to bargain with them tho. Original price was RM160 and after some bargaining, it became RM100.
Pics below, enjoy.

P.S. These are just REPLICAS. They are not sharp but can still hurt and kill someone.
KAtana, I want one!

If you're talking about replicas, I got mine at Ke Log Shii while doing some holidaying in Penang. It's a double handle Kantana.

Double handed means you can hold the kantana by two hands, hence the longer handle. Also yes, the blade is stainless steel coated with a layer of oil. I think it's for easy sliding in and out.
My replica comes with only 1 long kanata. It didn't come with the short one. I did saw a few short ones when I got mine but they cost another RM50 or so. Just one long kantana is good enough for me. If you have time to go there and have a look, there are many other types of kantana in different shapes and design as well. Oh, they got chinese swords too. QUOTE(vincentlee83 @ Feb 14 2006, 12:18 PM) how come so cheap geh? the material lousy? I think this is one of those Made in China products. The shopkeeper insisted that it is Made in Japan but I have my doubts. For me, it's enough because I just want it for decor purposes. i will surely go Penang and sapu all if arrive at Penang just ask the teksi to bring me to the temple there? is it a famous temple? Ya, the famous temple. Make sure you walk your way up there and bargain with them kau kau. This post has been edited by kltower4: Feb 14 2006, 03:38 PM |
