edogawa, do you think we can negotiate with custom for the swords? I really feel wanna buy some katana from Ricks Sword. There got many options and it seems like the quality also not bad. And the price is fair enough for us i think.

i did read that someone says he import some replica sword/katana in before. All he does is tell the Custom that it is for "collection" .. and he gets to keep the sword.... but that fella has some connection or some sort with the custom 1 la... Maybe someone call Custom and ask

I won 1 from card game tournament in S'pore and when bringing it in had to do show them letter saying it's for deco n collection only n so on.. n in M'sia had to pay RM50 to them to allow me to bring in... Don't know whether it'll be harder to bring in through if u order online but if it goes well let me know. Then i can tumpang next shipment

Customs may allow u to pass through with little kopi money, depending on situation. Of course you must know one customs officer la. But the prob is when u wanna cross the border, or i shud say the customs compound guard house. There are a team of police there. Customs warehouse is not the border, the actual border is the police guard house outside. If the police dun let, they will ask u to bring it back into the warehouse n surrender to customs.

And the price is fair enough for us i think. you cant bring in yourself the katana, you will have alot of trouble in custom and might ended up in Bukit Aman unless you are dealing biz or organization that related to it and have permit letter ... or if you are some big shot or its child etc if you really want to get one, goto martial art accessories shop and ask bout it back few years ago, i know one master in msia selling for less then RM 2K for 1 new katana

Guys... anyone interested in getting replica katana? Thru a seller in Lelong.. i sort of manage to get her to help me to import in Katana of our choice... but at BEST EFFORT. She is getting her stock from China.. She says she is willing to help us search for the katana we want... BUT NO PROMISE that she can find it. No payment needed... Also prepare picture of the katana u wants (if she can't find the katana by using the name, she'll use the picture to find similar stuff) Let's start it offed0gawa - reverse blade

Hmm... what she told me is "tell me what model/kind you want.. i try to help u find" Let's assume she has lubang to get ALL ..... so we just bomb her with request..... As for price... i bought a set of 2 pcs Katana with Dragon head handle.. it cost me RM110 only... Quality wise = OK (no plastic) We assume that her price for Katana would be around RM100-150 lo
