Sword Art training? Malaysia where got teach you use Katana?

i have only 1..wooden la...nothing much~..i think every1 knows how it looks like...

here @ Kuching, we have one shop "Play by Limited Edition" located at Hills shopping...losts of limited, rare or general katana if u interested..kinda cool how there arrange the swords...

u can find em @ FB try searching "Limited Edition Co."

there's no such thing as katana lesson/class.. but you can enroll in Kendo class. Kendo is the sports of swordfighting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kendo

but in kendo u use wooden/bamboo sword instead of real katanas. wooden katanas is called bokken, is another training equipment for sword skills.

BTW i sell katanas, wakizashis and the works... real ones, not some cheapo replicas. google these brands: United Cutlery, Cold Steel and Cas Hanwei.

But real ones are not cheap.

real katanas costs upwards from USD 5000 in japan. so if you buy cheap replicas, dont expect them to work like one.

I'm an avid collector,am interested in this piece of art,can u post your katana pic so that i can have a look at it?i have visited the JS4S website numerously n i know types of swords offered by them,i just wanna see a real shot photo,thanks.

The art of sword fighting is Kenjutsu (Sword styles, during the samurai period), but nowadays Kendo(the way of the sword) is more common as kendo emphasizes not only in killing your enemies, but also in moral values.

I think you can only find kenjutsu in Japan (like Tennen Rishin-ryu)





BTW, can anyone recommend me where to get a replica set of katana and wakizashi? Might wanna use it for cosplay

Where to buy a real Katana sword? no replica please ._. Its nicer is in Malaysia, shipping i think will gone through alot of...problem..you guys know what I mean right? Kindly mention the rage of the price

Haha~ actually is from Anime~ and Im going to take Kendo class soon and if I could get a katana I will make one of the wooden base on the katana I have for cosplaying ^^

wow...sounds interesting~ means u r planning 2 get a real sword o u juz wanna get an ioito for training purpose? as u know, a real piece of ioito is nearly impossible 2 be bought o found elsewhere in M'sia
