For those of you who are planning to get an exec, please go ahead, you wont regret it. I know I didn't. I own a black exec for 1 and a half months already and I have been enjoying it ever since.
In my opinion, the car is not underpowered but it may feel so because it really is a heavy car and CVT has the characteristics of gradually increasing speed that's why you wont feel the power surge of a NA AT car. With this the ride is comfortable, very steady. If you need more power, switch over to Sport mode, it's fun, really. Of course the performance is not comparable to a CFE but nevertheless it is a very nice car to drive. I used to drive a Kelisa before this. The driving aspects of the car need some getting used to and you will eventually learn to love it.
The handling of the car is really amazing. Trust me, you will feel very confident going through bends at high speed. Stability is very good. No complains in this section.
After being used to driving a Preve and when I got into my colleague's Vios, it feels so small and tight.
Okay let's talk about the negative things. Engine noise can be a little loud at high revs but it isn't that bad really. And like all Protons, there will be some QC issues, small ones. My driver side window will have a little sound when winding up/down after under the sun for some time and there was ktak ktak sound coming from the rear when I go over uneven road but I managed to find where the sound was coming from and solved the issue myself. The seat fabric also gets damaged easily.
That's about it. Come on, who doesn't like the LEDs? It make heads turn! Kthxbai
Yes... totally agree what you have said for exec.
I am among the 1st batch owned it since May...
What I can comment is, it is worth for the money....
