i am thinking of writing to DRB. It will probably not lead to anywhere but at least it will be out of my chest for a while.

Perhaps, you can stick some papers on your car windows and take photo and post to Facebook and send to news paper company. That may work. smile.gif

Have you try other SC? I believe you will find a good and reliable SC... Although must of them are !@#$@#$@#!$....

Most of the time, writing to CEO or higher management will simply being ignored because there is no case number.
Better complaint via proper channel, (iCare) with all the details.

After that, can submit complaint to CEO, tribunal pengguna etc. But most importan thing is you have case with proton.

Based on my experience handling customer complaints, if there is no case number we simply address them to have a case number first or there will be no action at all.

Guys,

Got one thing in my mind bros. Did any of us here mention anything of which RPM that our beloved Preve will perform optimally. I mean, have u guys found out in any thread before that at what RPM that preve will perform at its best. best as in which RPM that will use the fuel minimally while in the same time producing the best power output?

Has anybody discussed this before? Sorry for being so forgetting.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

mat79 did. Try to maintain the below or at 2000rpm because that will be the time where maximum torque comes at.
That should allow the vehicle to run at maximum torque and also the optimum fuel efficiency.

Again, playing the throttle pedal and mixing with the CVT characteristics will help too. [Which I dun fully understand yet]

Hmm.. Nice info. Thanks so much Allen. Comparing ur answer and Dares answer actually makes my 8.6l/100km is kinda logic to the mind since I drove both. Sometimes more than 2, especially in highways but then below 2k rpm if in city. So I guess its acceptable. Thanks!

it's 90km/h or 1.8k~1.9k rpm i think.. below than that speed, try to maintain 1.5k~1.6k rpm if u're cruising.. of course when u press the pedal, the rpm will shoot up first.. it will eventually goes down as the clutch catches up closing.. it's like playing with the clutch when driving a manual.. except that this is a computer controlled clutch.. so the option is only playing around with gas pedal until u feel how ur cvt working...

yeah, it easy to say than to practice.. i'm also still learning around how to minimized the fc.. since my home area is everyday jammed pack 45 minute to get through.. huhu.. rclxub.gif

for city driving, when stopping using footbrake and want to move again, let it roll by itself forst before apply throttle, u can see the rpm rise automatically around 1-1.2k rpm,the rpm wont drop when rev coz clutch already closed, n rev around 1.8k rpm max or lower if u dont want to speed up more than 90kmh. Only use turbine assist when needed @ 2k rpm. Hope this help.
