Fuyooh..so kecoh this facebook, guess we better share our knowledge here in lowyat. Kinda think facebook was getting out of control. Maybe it is because lowyat forum is moderated whereas facebook is self moderated?

huh! wadda'f*... just becoz of some misunderstanding pun can lead to FB page hijack... those fellas do need to feel ashamed of themselves...

especially shariman... he's a corporate dev & strategy GM at media prima, and was in the news many times... and  recently for presenting donation to some crime busting dude... malu wey perangai mcm budak kecik... a friend of mine who knew him says this dude kuat bodek coz he is close to the top mgmt... 1st class coc* sucker and butt kisser pasal cepat sgt naik... he was previously just a consultant there...

anyway... lesson learned... the best preventive measure right now is to have a proper control... in the PREVOC committee, need to appoint someone dedicated to manage & monitor the provoc website & FB... and since the FB is a private group, better set it by invitation to those "registered" prevoc club members... can have on the front page of the FB page to link to the forum for them to read the club's T&C as well as the form for registration... from there onwards, once confirmed, can invite them into the FB group... better to have quality members than quantity...

irregardless whether or not some of the hijackers knows people inside proton, if so they claimed, then prevoc would have already by now been recognized by proton... from what i can see like nothing happened only.. better emphasize on member's effort to get provoc recognized... no need to use cable what so ever.. as the satisfaction is different when we try on our own... also need to find ways to create alternative ways to create awareness for the club since it is officially registered... lookout for any proton related event and try to get involved in those activity to get recognition...

Off topic, this is quite common in many corporations...people going up the corporate ladder not because of skills or abilities but "other" abilities. Consultants sounds more like conmen...

This is the official reply from the coup members from the old Prevoc FB. For sharing here. Sejauh mana kebenaran kenyataan ini? hmm.gif

Penyelaras Kumpulan

Tata-susila Kumpulan:
i- tiada perbincangan politik
ii- tiada perbincangan agama
iii- hormat –menghormati semua

Terima Kasih.

Good eyes u have there bro. thumbup.gif Yup. Thats venttec visor. How do u know?

Venttec one RM185 is tentative price but upon buying this from them ACM gave me RM170..

If u go there try to nego to have it included in that RM1200 see how. biggrin.gif
Hahaha.. Lol! laugh.gif

U know, the back picture of this is actually after my ride has been scratched by another car the other day. But Mr.Choong's SG really help me out!

Sad truth indeed bro. What choice do i have? U know where this is right? If u see it today u can see its more worse than in the picture due to heavy rain yesterday..

But nonetheless, I'll be sending this car to my hometown in soon time. Then she'll be safe... thumbup.gif
Plus u know how the car maker here ties with the higher up of the political office. That just worsen our situation.. shakehead.gif

Bro,

You do have a choice and it is Cap Square underground carpark. There is so many empty slots and makes me wonder why no one parking there? Yes, I know it is expensive but if can protect the car from sun and rain, it is worth it (if your car is brand new, if more than 5 years, do not bother)

Well, he'll rinse ur car again, see where any spot that 'lost' the SG touch. I.e. where u said no more water beats. He'll touch up that thinned out area. He did it to mine when I send my car there after the body kit.
*
However, do note that if the whole car have no more beads, he will have charge a fee for the service.

Bro,

Item(s): Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0

Package includes: 1 syringe (20ml) Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 + 1 foam applicator

Price: RM300 (COD)/RM310 (Postage)

Picture:

Opti-Coat 2.0

Description
You read it right. Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is a permanent coating that protects automotive paint over its lifetime! Unlike a wax or sealant, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 will not wash or wear off. It acts as a second layer of clear coat which provides increased protection against the elements. Formerly only available to professionals, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is now available to the public in a more user-friendly formula.

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is a clear resin coating, much like the clear coat that already exists on your vehicle. And just like your factory clear coat, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is meant to be permanent! Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 can be applied to all exterior surfaces. It is not recommended for glass since improper application can affect visibility. For other exterior surfaces, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is a highly effective, transparent protective coating.

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is an additional barrier between the elements and your vehicle's paint. The paint will retain its color and contaminants will be blocked out to keep the paint smooth and clean. Unlike waxes and paint sealants that require frequent reapplication, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 provides constant, unyielding protection for the life of your vehicle's finish!

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 was modified slightly from the original professional formula. (The pro version is still available under the Opti-Guard name.) Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 cures more slowly, which gives you more time to apply the coating correctly.

Because Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is permanent, the paint finish has to be properly prepared before applying it. Any blemishes or contamination on the paint will be permanently locked in so remove them first! On a properly prepared paint finish, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 will look clear, smooth, and clean.

Note: Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is not to be confused with other waxes, sealants or nano-coatings, this is different. Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 uses a resin technology that forms a permanent bond to paint and cures, just like an extra layer of clear coat.

Once Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 cures, washing is the only maintenance needed to keep your vehicle looking fantastic. The coating can be clayed but it should not be necessary since Opti-Coat 2.0 releases contaminants easily. Use detail sprays as desired to intensify the gloss. You can also use Optimum Poli-Seal by hand or with dual action polisher with a foam finishing pad to clean the paint over time.

Say goodbye to waxing! Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 provides permanent paint protection to keep your vehicle looking its best indefinitely!

How to Use
1) Do a proper paint correction to remove any defects.
2) Clean surface with 15% IPA solution to remove all polishing oils, waxes, and silicones.
3) Prime the applicator by making an X pattern across the pad. Only a few drops will be needed for each subsequent panel.
4) Wipe Opti-Coat onto a single panel at a time in a thin layer using two directions, front to back, and then side to side.
5) Within 5 minutes, inspect the panel with adequate lighting looking for any thick areas that have not flashed away to clear.
6) Use foam applicator or paint safe microfiber to even out any areas where you see streaks. This step is key, as any spots not leveled will have to be polished if allowed to cure. Panels will feel a bit tacky and will be self-leveling during cure time, so avoid any unnecessary touching, wiping, or contact to produce the best results.
7) Repeat steps 1-6 for each panel where application is desired. Not recommended for glass.

NOTE

1) The Opti-Coat is PERMANENT for its nature. It is not recommended for non-experienced user/detailer or beginner in car care. We DO NOT guarantee any dissatisfaction in outcome due to any failure or any mis-application of user. User is on own liability, responsibility, and accountability.

2) Opti-Coat application service can inquired.

Disclaimer: I am not related and not a reseller of Optimum products. biggrin.gif

Seriously, it is a good product if you want to have minimum maintenance of the car coat and paint.

not sure it can be say as less effect or no more effect...but regardless of that, back to my questions, no waterbeads=no coat?
if this is the case, i pay 700 bucks for 3 months coating only? just my assumption la...
*
Depends on individual i think, if still got gloss but not beads, acceptable for you or not? If not acceptable, you have to do coating every 3 months? Use opti coat, do once, no need do again? Your choice.
