its basically the same engine with some improvement of the parts with a better quality and material.. but one has to remember, persona comes with conventional auto transmission.. where by the preve executive comes with a state of the art CVT gearbox... the nature of CVT, it will adjust itself based on the load.. whether the car is fully loaded with 5 adults, or just only the driver, the "pulling" experience would be the same.. it acted differently from conventional gearbox where the "pulling" experience pretty much depending on the load... more load, heavier to move the car.. CVT, 1 person or 5 person, u as the driver would feel the same "moving power" of the car...

I dint even notice the CONFIDENTIAL wording there lolz It was stuck on a bulletin board on the wall of the service area in a authorized Proton SC. Probably not meant to be seen by customers, but they allow customers to wander around in the service area anyway

HU no more blinking/flashing like crazy? Engine adaptation update solve the car slow down jerking problem?

did your car engine mati before the engine adaptation? i wonder if the engine adaptation you were referring to is the same as ECU refreshed?

I pressed to 215km/h for the engine break in..BUT ONE BMW 335I overtake me easily..

Edit:Just back from 2nd service..no engine adaption and HU software upgrade..Just chg engine oil,gasket oil filter...

I requested..they said dont have such upgrades..Damn!

Which you prefer:
1) Being bounced back & forth from SC to SC because they "need to check with HQ" for every single thing; or
2) Go to HQ, sit there until someone gets you a conclusive answer, although its 4 hours later?

It depends on severity of issue-lah bro... like my case, I have no where to go EXCEPT CoSE. Unless you have a better suggestion of course...

Good. For the rubber that have fallen off, can buy those 3M double sided tape and redo the part.

if engine adaptation, ecu reflash, if cvt adaptation, tcu reflash. But u can do cvt adaptation manually(not update to newer version, but help in addaptive program) by fully press the footbrake, slot N - R - N - D - N - R - N - D -N - R countless of time as many as u can and stop around 3 scnd each gear slot, to help the tcu learning(adaptive program)in releasing clutch which immitate city driving condition.

Cvt adaptive program learn through out gear change when u drive. And sometimes it takes time to learn. Thats why it become better n better through out time. That is the short cut way by using method i mentioned. But reflashing to a new version means new calibration.

Regardless ecu@tcu adaptation@reflash, need a laptop@computer to do that. If just using simple tools such padt, that is just reset@clearing trouble code.

Haish...take picture also give excuses...post for the benefit of the people here lor....outside door reduction maybe only 5 - 10%. No question about the solid sound of door closing.

Foam is way above my budget. No doubt on the effectiveness of the product.

For me, i just stick the rubber with acrylic tape bought from outside.
