tell me more about the multiplayer if anyone of you brought it? is it cross region like mario kart 7.

Cross region I am not so sure. But the most interesting feature about the game is the Download Play.

Dark Moon features both local and online multiplayer modes. It also features Download Play capabilities, meaning you can use a single cartridge for up to four players. Most interestingly, however, is that when playing local multiplayer, players who’ve downloaded the game from the host system can continue playing even if the host system is disconnected.

Never played the previous version. It was a fun game playing Luigi as Ghostbuster!

the online multiplayer is really fun! but too much people d.c. halfway through

One good thing I like about this game is that you could Download Play with 4 people. Even if your friends doesn't have the game, you could play together with them provided they have a 3DS.

The game may have the best graphic in 3DS so far.. even with 3DS xl there's hardly any.. pixelation.. the environment is nice too, very detail and vibrant.

I think this is call placebo effect.

The game is fun, I wan to try the multiplayer mode.. but damn TM.. still doesn't fix the cable.. been 2 months already

Never notice any pixelation at all.
I'm one of them who upgraded to XL from the small 3DS.
Every games seems to be great, larger screen to play is always better.

I may have the wrong term fo what I see, but I think it's pixelation. For example the most noticeable for me Harvest Moon, around ! or ? there's bits of white pixels around the annotation. Well, the pixel gets bigger so it's more noticeable.

But I do like bigger screen

I played a lot of HM on the small one and upgraded but never really notice a thing. Guess it's better to not notice then notice it.
Just makes you sad lol

Just had a few runs on multiplayer, its fun! But yeah, it's tough to find a stable room to play in...

was playing it just now, just cleared 8th floor on hard, then the game just freeze up and screen goes black no response to any button pressed, have to reboot my 3ds. it was my first time reaching 8th floor on hard

The multiplayer is indeed fun.

imma take some risk and try if Japanese version can cross region with u.s. version. thinking either going digital or retail. decisions decisions. after this game then my spending spree will shut off (finger cross)

i think can gua. the online multiplayer most of the time i pair with japanese player (or at least player with japanese name)

Just finished Haunted Tower B-3 Graveyard Shift. Was having a little bit of trouble in the beginning facing the 3 female ghost lol.

Got it. Favourite ghosts right now is greenies with fruits

Wait for them to attack first to flash them, or flash it with your dark light, it will lift up the shield for a while and hit it with flash, weak flash also can.

Anyway this is the best game of 2013 for me, finish it couple of weeks ago and nice ending story, you get to save someone at the end after the final boss, and for me, the boss on the C level are the toughest boss in the game, i mean the fight on the way to reach that boss.

Sneakers are my favorite ghost, totally annoying. hahaha.

Oh god...currently at C-2

Sneakers are annoying yeah but how about the greenies that laugh at you after sliding down repeatedly in Eerie Staircase. hahaha

Took me a few days to clear that boss. Now at D1, can't find gold key.

Finally finished the whole game...whew, quite challenging!

Eerie Staircase IS annoying, well took me quite some times to climb the stairs, but manage to find out how to climb it properly, but one mistake at the end makes you are down back to the bottom!!! hahaha.

Just finished the game...nice ending...

I need to start playing this game, it's on my next game to finish.
And how many hours/days did it take you to finish the game.

I would say about 8.5. Played sparingly since early this month when I got it as was finishing Mario 3D Land. Now wondering if I should sell it.

Ending is great and it makes you smile

I spend 76 hours on this game so far (including scarescraper) and yea, depending on how you play the story mode, eg. aiming for 3 star, get all the boos and gems, look at walkthrough, take your sweet time, the time spend can varies.

Anyway imo, this game deserves at least a 8.5, can't be 8. Definitely a solid game.

Now I wonder is it even possible to climb that stairs without failing once (imagine if it is part of the 3 star requirement. lol)
Initially, I thought gobber was rather annoying, but it no longer does . Now I think greenies (especially hockey team + small room) and empowered sneakers are the most annoying Will need more practice to deal with them

Haven't try ScareScraper as the connection is not always good.

Just bought a used copy of Luigi's Mansion 2.. ugh so many backlogs, not enough room to hold all my carts in the card pelletes edi..

This game is very good. Just finish 2 stages and it's really fun to play.
Now thinking of getting to gamecube game which was the previous game installment.

Once you obtained 3 Dr.Egadd badges, pretty much the goal has been reached and there is nothing much to do. But then, you can always go back to the game occasionally to frag some ghosts, improve your skill etc in the scarescraper mode.
