QUOTE(ayonan @ Sep 19 2012, 11:11 PM) I can't agree with you. If all the club are allowed to spend only what the profit they've made and not more, then the only team to compete for the premier league will be ManUtd & Arsenal. Where is the fun in that? Nope. What i envision is that for playing staff all teams have the same set budget. No more no less. Wigan will have he same budget as man city. No more big teams. Commercial profits can be used for other expendiure like lowering ticket prices but not players. This post has been edited by aressandro10: Sep 19 2012, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(calvin_yit @ Sep 19 2012, 11:56 PM) Not gonna work. How are you gonna convince the other leagues to follow suit? If only the EPL use this structure (standard budget like MLB n NBA rite?), all the good players will flock to spain and italy. Even with the current system, the rich teams in EPL is way behind in terms of revenue generated per year compared to barcelona and real madrid as a result of the different method of revenue sharing from tv deals. Furthermore, as proven by the NBA, even if everyone starts with thr same budget, level playing fields are rarely achieved. Big teams will still always find ways to dominate. bah... IF i can convince the EPL to do it then the rest of the world will be a piece of cake... of course there the good teams will shoulder above the rest . its a competition after all. what matters is its not because of money the gap will not be at hopeless level for other small teams currently. |

wow. i could not tought that i would live the day tottenham beat MU. hahaha
it was always without fail for tottenham to screw themselve when the plays against MU.... but tonight the hold by the scruff of their teeth.... they dont deserve the result IMO... the game was totally scripted for a 5-2 MU win.... This post has been edited by aressandro10: Sep 30 2012, 02:31 AM |

QUOTE(munky @ Sep 30 2012, 02:29 AM) we always play superbly when trailing in the first half. seriously next time pls give opponent 1 goal advantage lol agreeed. the worst thing for tottenham to do was scored and early goal. after that they will forget how to play and scholes will automatically switched on to that mode. |
