You guys... when you bought this phone, is there somekind of screen protector film pre-installed on the screen? I heard that many people complain about scratch, and then other people say it's actually the protective film that's scratched and the scratch will be gone if you remove the protective film.

I kinda think that naked Xperia with scratches is still better-looking and sexier than with case. Just that it affects resale value. God I hate cases!

Guys... I heard that the black version is stronger than yellow and white because it's made of different material. I treated it as hearsay only and thought it was quite ridiculous that different colour is made from different material. Plus if they wanted to make 1 colour stronger than the other, it should be the yellow one since it's the 'sports edition'.

Today, I went to the Sony Centre to check out the phone in person. I asked the guy there about this (expecting him to say that all colours are the same) and he actually confirmed that the black version's enclosure is made from stronger material, and the other two are just normal plastic!

I guess I'm gonna get the black one (but not yet). Was considering white at first, since black is a bit dull and my nephew already has a yellow phone. I guess a rugged phone can't be too fancy eh?

But that's not what the Sony Centre guy said. He said the black one is made from a different material, it's tougher and more likely to survive from being dropped. He didn't say anything about rough surface or grip. He looked like he knew what he was talking about.

Maybe. But he didn't promote anything to me, he was just there to help. Not like a 'salesman' that would push you to buy this or that. Plus this is Sony Centre we're talking about and I think he's smart enough to know that I was just there for the demo and won't pay the max RRP.

Okayla if I get the chance, I'll go to some other Sony Centre to double-confirm

p/s: I'm so mad there still isn't a real 'drop/crash test' video for this phone on Youtube. Tak abis2 water resistant test.

If you mean the other side of the cover (that faces the inside of the phone), the yellow one is also yellow on the inside.

There are many people complaining about this. I think you can find a YouTube video on how to close it properly.
