this morning when i plugged into PC then suddenly got notification from pc companion...
said got new update 6.2.A.0.400...
so i just terus update without thinking much...
didnt really know that JB is already out...

so far fell snappier than ICS...
i would say performance fast like GB...
interface got change a bit...

others im not sure yet coz busy looking for root steps...

but i like the power management...
got estimated time left for battery...

You XGO is AP or Sony Malaysia set?

Probably root will come again, just wait for XDA Devs..

Going to try to update my sister's XGO tonight.

mine is AP...
previously when ICS is out...
u guys so syiok coz can enjoy it early than me...
i have to wait around 2 weeks then only i can update to ICS...

but now...
dayum fast can update to JB...
even my colleague jelly on my phone as his GO is malaysia set but still didnt get the update...

yeah already looked in XDA...
they also cant root on 6.2.A.0.400

hopefully bin4ry can make it work fast coz his steps are the easiest one.

Just checked my sister's XGO Sony Msia set, update is available

you can get it RM700+ if you look at garage sales lol

I'm letting go a unit of XGO for RM550 (er tell me if the price is too high). Only the phone itself, no charger, box whatsoever. My Iphone was stolen, got this as a temp replacement not sure about the warranty, but its a Sony Msia set tho, anyone knows how to check the warranty period? If RM8XX better go for Xperia V.. RM949 from DirectD and SatuGadgetDotCom..

By the way, seems that 4.1.2 on XGO is quite okay. But of course not close to AOSP version

The Battery Stamina Mode looks promising.

mind me to ask all of u guys..y dont try to flash da JB using Flashtool?? coz i see many .ftf file oredy upload at XDA..

How did you manage to update? When I connect to the PC software it says I'm already up-to-date. But I'm still on ICS (4.0.4)

did u see my folder windows on upper side in da pic?? da file oredy inside it da Flashtool/firmware but seems like nothing to selected..null till the end...

btw..i got da "Xperia Go (ST27i)_6.2.A.0.400 (JB_4.1.2)_Hongkong.ftf" file by rename it from Xperia Go (ST27i)_6.2.A.0.400 (JB_4.1.2)_Hongkong.zip file..

no wonder..u change extension ..for sure flashtool cannot detect..change it back...to ftf...
flashtool = ftf, fastboot = zip.

I heard some of you updated to JB. How's the battery usage for JB compared to GB/ICS? Does your phone often lag?

for me..JB is superb..got stamina mode, fast & smooth..

but i got some bug when exploring da Album (Gallery)..i cant view my pic but can select i..it seems like invisible in my screen..i dunno my device got prob or not coz after flashing there is not problem at all but comes after a few hour..

U will be surprise how effective stamina mode in JB...
Today goes to outlet in genting and left my charger at the office in shah alam...
By the time im realize that i left my charger i quickly turn stamina mode on and that time my battery left only 53% and its around 1pm...

Now already at home and the time i type this 9pm my battery only left 41%...

During those 8 hours i only use for call around 10 times with each call around 1-2 minutes...
And several sms plus light surfing using tapatalk...
Also play some light games around 15-20 minutes...

If i were still using ics for sure my battery will die around 4pm with that kind of usage...[U]
