Do u guys think updating to 4.0 will improve battery life? Battery life is main issue here, I dont care about anything else.

JB is coming in march, seems to have higher system requirement = bad battery life. I dont want to skip to JB.

JB's project butter is great. Brings overall smoothness and optimisation to the operating system.

My sister's XGo is with ICS 4.0.4 she said she doesn't notice any change in Battery life, she use 3G a lot daily.
Mostly on FB, Whatsapp and web surfing.

my dad dont use FB/whatapp or web surfing. Uncle use phone for call sms only lol

Then I don't see that would be a problem? 3G uses a lot of battery

Updating it. Since I am not going for 4.1/Jelly Bean = higher requirement.

Xperia Go is much more faster in terms of specs plus you can get IP67 protection.
Well the plus point of iPhone3gs is that it is iPhone,
but really la Xperia Go is much thinner :/

well if you want to try,better grab the premium which is iPhone 5 atm
or up your budget and gamble for iPhone4s which at that price can get Xperia V(4.3''inch+IP57+13MP+BE2)
