well try to repair via Sony PC companion if you can't find solution if its still there then it might be hardware.

black or yellow ? emm black look a bit dull

But it look nice and stylish when you hold it
well it is small screen smartphone and black is the original colour of the material that made the phone so any damage to the skin will not ruin the phone looks

so go for black ? is it rubber or plastic material ?

plastic but kinda feel hard rubberized
well what you want really know is that it feel really nice to hold in your hand
and can get a good grip in water.

Mine yellow...but i see white more attract..

white will easy get dirty. black seems like dull. looks like yellow more attractive to me.

I mean, the seller I bought this from said the screen is scratch-resistant so I don't need one when I asked him if he got a screen protector for Go. But it gets really smudgy at times, so irritating... Should I apply a matte one or leave it be?

Up to u...coz the phone come with anti scratch screen..so if u want to cover more..go get SP..
or let it without SP then u can feel anti scratch and anti dust..easy to wipe.
