Some people say it's because of SKype (since it's still in Preview) and as for me, I think it was caused by Facebook. I haven't had any reboots for the last 2 weeks (I had a total of 5 reboots for the last one month) and I guess it's probably due to the updates that I have installed (Extra +, Display +, Facebook etc etc). Try and uninstall Facebook and Skype and see how it goes. Reinstall them again and monitor as well.

I have uninstalled Skype and it seems the Phone doesn't get as warm as before and the battery drainage as shown by the graph in Battery Status with 3G always on is quite consistent (in Engineering Terms, the decline curve is quite stable). We'll see how it goes today.

I could last a day easily; wifi 1-2 hrs, 3-4hrs music, no 3G, calls and messages as usual, and by nite 10-11pm still have 40%+. I think 3G/4G is sucking the battery.  GPS will definitely suck the battery dry, same case for my previous phones.

On heat, my phone on gets hot while gaming, didnt use 3G so i cant say much about that.

i need skype for video calling.. need an alternative apps for video call..

Waaa.. We are the opposite. I want the red but only got black and yellow. Lucky yesterday someone didn't pick up his yellow Lumia, if not I would have bought the black.
I know right. But the fact that not many has bought, is the reason why not many developers is interested in this platform. Thanks to Lumia 920 and WP8 things is about the change. The more userbase the better.

I just browse to the store and the game section is quite good. Only thing is missing for me is the major app likr instagram, flipboard and google services.
Pretty sure it's normal for a phone to die for 6 to 8 hours of using 3G. My previous phone, the iPhone is quite the same, battery drains quite fast with 3G on.

The only phone that seems to be getting a pretty steady battery life this year is the Nexus 4, been hearing good things about it lately.

Smartphone without 3G and Data for me is considered a dumbphone instead...

My data and roaming is switched off; i dont think the phone will switch to the data for my case. I think the app running on screen will run (the wifi connection icon is there), but background ones wont. But for my case it's updating the apps i installed, not downloading anything.

I left the settings > wifi page on my screen, went to sleep. After a minute switch it back on and it's still connected. Unless the phone is quick enough to establish a connection that i didnt even notice the attempt to connect after i wake the phone up from sleep...

No such thing for mine, yours is defective i guess. I used my Sennheiser headphones and the included earphones and all of them worked without issues.

repair? no replacement for tat? how long needed to repair?

Based on Navifirm, the Portico update is already available for Vietnam and HK units and also Australia and New Zealand ... nothing on APAC MY units

Ahwwwww shit. I don't see the setting to email the chat history either but then again, I hate having to do backup that way. I like the way iOS does it, it saves the chat history as part of the application data that it backs up and when the app is restored, the application data is automatically associated with the app and then you have everything like it was before ....

I have the same problem as yours. Not the headphone though. Didnt try that. But my screen is flickering badly. Do not let them repair. Ask for an exchange. I am going to get my exchange later. They wanted to repair but i met the territory manager and he called back and let them have mine exchanged
