Don't forget that the actual warranty sticker is underneath the SIM tray.

QUOTE(X10A Freedom @ Dec 28 2012, 01:05 PM) so far i realise my phone gets pretty hot after browsing through my RSS feeds (using Nextgen Reader), checking my Facebook, Skype & IM+. I'm in the exact same situation as you are bro. and battery do get drained quite fast.......under wifi is okay....but under 3G it gets accelerated a lil......can't really last me a day if i keep on repeat the interval of usage (checking my phone every hour). is this normal? |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Dec 29 2012, 11:09 PM) It's taking the "sharing the Windows kernel" literally, right up to how Windows desktop OS behaves, battery indicator-wise. As in Windows battery counter indication jumping up and down as well when you do lightweight and heavyweight activities on your Windows laptop. Exact behaviour? No, I'm not talkin about the time remaining. That one I know can't be trusted, I'm just looking at the capacity indicator. where it just keeps going down very very fast. |

I'll just chime in.
My problems with the 920 is.. - weird battery life - auto reset once a day, I only have Weave News Reader as the only non standard app sitting in Background Tasks. |

The song names weren't in Unicode. Not sure what the solution is for this one, mine came out fine.

Well, it finally happened. My 920 was stuck in the restart loop where I had to do the power + viol down combo.
Update can't come soon enough! |

So after asking around with some ppl that have IP5, they're telling me that it's normal for phone to gobble battery like no tomorrow....
Now I know why the market for battery extenders have increased so much! |

QUOTE(skyline100 @ Jan 5 2013, 01:44 PM) Since it is a big money for you, I think it is worth for you to read through all the comment in this thread, although it's quite a lot... Regarding the battery life comment, after talking with a few of my friends who have been using iPhones and Samsung galaxies, the fact that a phone drinks up your battery power like no tomorrow seems to be common... so I guess you can't call that a con anymore, just something you'll have to live with if you use high end phones.I'm not a Lumia 920 user, but so far from the feedback I saw, people are quite satisfied with this phone, just in some aspects it is not up to expectation. Common issues faced by users: Inconsistent battery life; Random Reboot. 920 vs Note2 Comparison by aspire2oo6: |

QUOTE(Andrew Lim @ Jan 7 2013, 11:24 AM) Windows Phone will be able to support IMAP for Gmail. Until Google decides that its not good enough and starts implementing their own spec changes lar.Microsoft 'disappointed' by Google's Exchange ActiveSync decision, pledges support for IMAP However Contacts/Calendar may not be synced because they're not under IMAP. Microsoft should use an open protocol like CardDAV. Apple uses it on iPhone and it allows iOS users to sync with GMail Contacts/Email/Calendar. |
