QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 6 2012, 10:17 PM) It's not like others were not cheating with their camera shot but please don't do until exposed like that. So much money spent promoting Pureview and ruined in a single night. 20 years ago can keep quiet la, nowadays the entire internet and blogosphere will know your sh*t in less than an hour, Nokia have no choice but to apologize, otherwise sure got lawsuits. actually, the thing is not about using fake photos in advertising, it's standard every companies are doing it, it's a norm, but Nokia screwed up becoz they didn't tell people clearly in the ads about the footage are not real but enhanced (small notice to accompany the ads).

QUOTE(Dragon177 @ Jan 3 2013, 09:15 AM) I am quite upset about the battery life issue. I have this phone for almost 2 weeks. After fully charged, I turned on wifi and just checked a few times facebook and then whatsapp like exchanging 12 messages. in 2 hours it dropped to 88%. this morning it dropped to 77% (with everything turned off, except the phone itself while i slept last night). Now i turned on 3G (not even really browsing anything), with music on (listen with earphones) it dropped from 77% to 61% in 1 hour. When days with only 2G, and no games (with all background apps turned off. no location, no wifi, no nfc, etc). It lasted a bout 1 day and 18 hours. I personally think a smartphone should be smart enough to have all the essential features ON like 3G, Location, Notifications and still lasts at least one full day or more. Where users can enjoy the phone without worrying about battery life.

I don't forsee another event anytime soon with 'real' freebies like monster headset. Compared to Lumia 900 where Nokia over produced and demand low like nobody, Lumia 920 is much higher demand and nokia can only produce 600,000 a month for the entire planet until their factory more efficient with less defects (especially the screen).
My advice for those who can't decide whether to buy now or not with tight budget is to wait for the price to go slightly lower as RM1999 is quite a lot of money. You can buy a lot of stuffs like a brand new LED TV for that money.

QUOTE(DavidWKW @ Jan 7 2013, 09:59 PM) Awww.... quite true... Lumia 800 > give headset to raise awareness as Lumia 800 is the beginning of Nokia phone's revolution, then Lumia 900 > no one wants to buy due to the announcement of WP8, Lumia 920 > high in demand, no need freebies people also buy >< Hmm... you are right... maybe I wait till price drop a bit/ at least until yellow is available One good rule to avoid impulse buy is to withhold purchase for 4weeks of anything that you can buy immediately. Most of the time, the desire dies off after the 4th weeks and you realize you dont actually need or so giler over the thing anymore This post has been edited by gouken: Jan 7 2013, 10:12 PM

QUOTE(sunyen @ Jan 7 2013, 11:31 PM) Sadly, 'real' money is all in iOS, worst in Android. WP's status, look-see-look-see, depends heavily this year, if Microsoft fails to get any traction with Windows Phone, they are really toast this time, together with Nokia. Actualy my fren, worst is WP and BB at the moment. Most 'real' money all in iOS ecosystem with a bit on Android.
