QUOTE(chtan @ Sep 17 2012, 02:24 PM) Seems like a lot of people confuse about lumia 920 only supports wireless charging, you can alway go back to USB charging if you like. if u see the spec list for 920, the default they will give you is a USB charger. the wireless charger you have to buy as extra accs

http://allaboutwindowsphone.com/features/i...ad_Nokia_80.phpThis is what I'm going to miss from my N8 QUOTE Up to 512MB of C: (system) disk, plus 16GB mass memory and flexible microSD expansion, e.g. adding an extra 32GB. Apps can be installed on any disk. Plugging in the phone to any desktop computer allows mass memory and microSD to be mounted and treated like any other disk. Plus generic USB disk support via 'USB on the go', adding up to 128GB extra. 920/WP only can do this QUOTE 32GB internal storage, non-expandable, no mountable functions, data and content is mainly transferred by Zune Desktop (and whatever companion application follows it) over microUSB.

QUOTE(luckyhillkop @ Sep 25 2012, 10:49 AM) Wp users are saying it's slow. Used to lag but an update fixed that. Now the loading time is slow. Symbian's whatsapp is probably a lot better than wp's. Maybe a current wp user could tell us more here. still hates whatsapp on my N8 it eats battery like crazy...

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 4 2012, 07:07 PM) no one can confirm it atm... but since there's maxis package for 900, they probably will do the same for 920 Hopefully Digi will have a plan for 920 as well.. else will have to pay full price. Its high time to revise my Digi Smart Plan to a cheaper plan. I'm not using fully the 3GB allocated right now...

After reading all the reviews, i cant help to feel a bit disappointed with the inconsistent camera performance. As I am a person who use auto mostly, the 808 looks way way better in term of sharpness and detail... Perhaps is partly the WP8 imaging engine fault?

QUOTE(azraeil @ Dec 5 2012, 03:06 PM) Pureview 808 is a different beast altogether and yes Lumia 920 uses the PureView branding (which I think is lame but I guess it's a marketing thing). I do agree that the camera performance in daylight (outdoors) is average but personally for me I take a lot of photos indoors and I can tell you, it's light and day between my 4s and the Lumia 920 and the iPhone 5's camera is almost identitical to the 4s so I cannot see how you would rate the iPhone 5 as better. I would agree that it can be rated higher if the comparison is done for outdoor lighting but then again, if you are going to rank a winner based on outdoor lighting, then you have to create a category for indoor lighting and low light condition. We are not even talking of the OIS capability and its effect on Video recording so when Ars mentioned Winner in camera technology, I guess they are only talking about photos (which I already mention I have issues with) and not even video recording. I was riding a bike with my 2 kids yesterday and took a video recording of them and the resulting video on the 920 was plain awesome. Later i did the same on my 4s .... it's good but nothing close to the 920. So personally I am happy with the camera capability of the 920. I hope Nokia will come up with a patch for the outdoor photo issue because the prototype 920 tested by Engadget had no issue with outdoor lighting. I think there is nothing wrong with the OIS. Rather the imagining algorithm is kindda sux. I dont remember Nokia has any of this inconsistent quality issue with the 808 n N8 which were Symbian based.... In any case I hope it performs better then my current N8. Do share some of your picture samples... This post has been edited by WhitE LighteR: Dec 5 2012, 04:08 PM

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 5 2012, 04:12 PM) well, they do have some problem with 900 camera i believe... i guess the usual imaging algorithm used with Symbian isn't compatible with WP OS... dunno ya.. coz if i remember correct, Symbian dont do aggressive image sharpening or any vivid colors etc etc... older nokia algorithm always prefer natural color saturation and less to no sharpening. They rather the image blur then it being over sharpen.

http://allaboutwindowsphone.com/reviews/it...t_2a-stills.phpQUOTE At which point I'd like to dispense with the elephant in the room, in order that we can get on with the rest of the review. Across all lighting conditions and use cases, the cameras in the Symbian-powered Nokia N8 and 808 PureView are superior, by quite a way, to that in the Lumia 920. Which isn't surprising - both have much larger sensors (1/1.8" and 1/1.2" respectively) and have the huge advantage of a real (Xenon) camera flash for indoor shots and freezing moving subjects. I'll have a direct comparison here shortly on All About Symbian, for those interested. But, with the best will in the world, Symbian as an OS isn't going to win many hearts and minds in the phone world in 2013, so I'll overlook these other two 'outlying' devices here.
