The phone function as normal once i peel off..

Yes.... the sensor above the "N" (Nokia logo)... I try stick it again, the phone become crazy again. Nokia technician told me if i insist to stick SP, cut off the SP part which near the sensor... that it will work..

It looks nice and offers 'full' protection but it changes the character of the phone totally. Not that it is bad and some will love it whilst others will hate it.

luckily my SP come with pre-cut 1

Normal u cannot block to proximity sensor or else it can't detect anything so when u making a call the screen will auto turn off

I always emphasize that people are looking for lighter phones. But there are always those who says that heavy = well built. But when you look at competitor's specs, you will know it's just plain justification.

Finally Nokia has taken heed and are looking at making it lighter and thinner.

I really do hope Nokia will rise to the challenge of designing phones which are lighter and thinner without sacrificing sturdiness like the iPhone 5. And Microsoft to compliment it's Windows Mobile 8 with expanding their apps quickly which i feel is the only let down at the moment.

My sp also blocked the sensor, is that affect the phone performance?

yes it will affect certain applications that uses the proximity sensor. If u go look at nokia lumia 800 and 900 u notice the SP camera part is cut out

Is there anyone from LYN selling SP which cut off the sensor area for Lumia 920??

I think similar thing happened to the iPhone 5 as well my friend cut out the top part of the sp as well.

Wonder why previous phone doesn't cause this problem when applying sp.

I thing previous phone sp is precut, do note that the lumia's sensor is hard to notice, unless you focus your eye on it.

I suspect that the sensor is too sensitive.... But Nokia should be able to adjust the sensitivity via firmware if they want too....

I just removed my sp, and there is no difference. My phone still faces the same problem.

I found out few possible solution while i having the issue;
1) Remove SP
2) Try wipe the sensor
3) try take few picture with front camera
4) Check whether is that any dust in front facing camera

Nope, no difference

Guess I'll have to go claim warranty? Maybe it's a phone defect?

i saw the sensor and i have SP blocking it ..but still no problem ..probably is my SP too thin?

Guys, the proximity sensor is not in the front cam, it is on the right of the front cam, right above the N alphabet of Nokia logo, a dark oval object, you will only notice it when u shine bright light on the screen, very well-hidden. Most SPs didn’t cut that section. My SP that came with Nilkin case doesn’t affect the sensor though.
