Hi, I have quite oily skin with lots of blackheads and whiteheads, and occasional breakout once a month. looking for a non-greasy moisturizer since my hada labo moisturizing milk is too rich for me, sekkisei emulsion also too rich for me. Used aloe vera products b4 but it makes my face red all over. Really hope to get a suitable moisturizer before my face get any worse. cry.gif Thanks!

I've combination skin & i'm using Laniege (trial pack) right now. I like their balancing moisturiser. It's light & i actually thought it was not moisturing enough in the beginning. But now i feel that it is good at controlling sebum.
My routine = toner -> Laniege moisturing -> cream/gel (for extra moisture)

Previously i tried The Face Shop Zero Blemish series. Works well as well but a little too dry for my daily usage.

I have extremely dry skin, because I consumed Roaccutane before (medicine for Acne). Currently I am using Clinique Anti Blemish moisturizer. It works well on my skin smile.gif

i am oily skin and get dehydrated too. currently i am using the trial pack of hada labo. so far, it's working well for me.

last time i used to use it when it first came out and it broke me out. after so long, when my skin care stuffs ran out, i am tempted to try hada labo too but don't wanna get full size. so, i bought the travel size pack. a pack of 3 (cleanser, lotion and moisturizer) for RM19.90. surprisingly, so far so good though. it didn't break me out.

so, what do you think of their trial set? the stickiness? as in using the lotion (toner)? use your palm to spread the lotion onto your face. after that, use your palm to press onto your face gently. you will feel sticky is because the lotion is slightly thicker than normal lotion, that's why. hehe! as for the moisturizer, i don't feel the stickiness though.

i changed all the time. lol. previously i was using mandom barrier.. a japanese brand. after this trial pack, i wanna try snail cream.

I like the trial set thumbup.gif . I love to try an enough amount of skincare products to see the effects b4 purchasing full bottles!

Yup, i follow the instructions. I feel the lotion is a bit sticky during the 1st two weeks of application, after that no more sticky feel . mayb my face saturated v the H.Acid ady? wonder why. but there are ppl commenting that maybe our skin get used to the products. I like the lotion but i could only apply a tiny amount (less than 4 drops). I found out that applying lotion on my hands and legs feel great too~ laugh.gif So smooth neh~

The moisturizer is a bit too thick for me, but now i apply 3 drops ( vy small drops) and rub it with my palm and press into my face. feel better! tongue.gif

The snail cream is hot now. but i feel very "yucks" with the *snail* ... let me know if u hv try out.. hehe

alright.. please try out mandom barrier repair products then. don't use the cream but lotion type; hence you won't feel it's too rich for you.

here is a reference for you in case you don't know which was i referring to.

http://www.mandom-beauty.com/barrier_repair/

if you are interested, you may get it at selected watsons store. let me know if you are in KL, so i can tell you which watsons carries this product. it's affordable (price) and it's good. hehe!

Not too sure on the pricing for Liniege since i'm using trial pack... Found some links in LY that claims they are selling cheaper than over the counter. As for Face Shop Blemish Zero, i think the price was around RM80. Bought a few things together so i can't really remember the price.

Tried Water Bank Essense & Sleaping pack too. It's part of the trial pack. Trial pack was RM119 consist of Multi Cleanser, Refiner (toner), Balancing Emulsion Lotion, Water Bank Essense, Water Gel Cream & Sleeping Pack.
They have 2 version :
1) Light for oily to combination skin &
2) Moisture for normal to combination skin.

I bought the Light version & seems to be quite good for me. Tested for more than 1 month & no break out so far; plus everyone is saying that my complexion has improved.

Multi Cleanser is suppsed to be an all in 1 cleanser with exfoliating purpose as well. Personally i think it's too harsh for my daily use (since i double cleanse). But it's a good one if you need to clean & exfoliate at the same time.

WB Essense - so far so good. Definately ok for me. Nothing for me to shout about yet since i'm still trying out other products smile.gif

Sleeping pack - pretty good. Does help to maintain moisture & the scent is ok. Skin is not too stinky after use, so no worries about it getting on to sheets or clothes. Has a very light feel, very comfortable.

haha... It took me a long time to get use to doing double cleansing. I've no choice but to do it. If i missed even once, i'll start breaking out again. What is worse is that i get those pimples that just doesn't go away.

You might as well try Laniege at the next promotion. No point paying full price when i see quite a few promos going on.
I've been looking through online website & they do have promos. I'm looking out for small samples pack to try out smile.gif

i always do double cleansing. oil cleanser first to remove all my make up, then follows by facial foam. also, i will lather it until thick and dense foam and cleanse my face using the foam. My fingers or palm do not touch my face at all. just the foam. the thicker and denser the foam is, the more effective for it to lift up dirt from your face.

in few months to come, i am going to have clarisonic mia as my sister said she will get it for me as x'mas present. yay!!
