Hey, I am not too sure what oilseeds are, but I used to have bad black head & whitehead problems, also often got acne because of oily skin, and and the oily skin caused large open pores especially on the upper cheeks next to the nose. I have been to a doctor, and what really helped me was a laser treatment, I think the doctor called it Spectra Q-Switch. This kind of laser does not cause scarring, but just kills germs and gets rid of dead skin cell build up. If you read about it online, they also call it laser polishing. It is not painful, feels like a little scratching on the skin and the doctor very quickly moves the laser all over the face. It takes about 10 minutes in total, I would say. Immediately after, the skin looks a little red, like its sensitive, and it feels hot, but it goes away quickly. I had to do this treatment about 5 times, but after that I really saw great improvement. I used to need to squeeze my blackheads on my nose at least once a week, but now I have no more blackheads. And pores also improved a lot. So many ppl told me that after the treatment my skin looks very smooth and 'perfect'. They always say they envy me my 'good skin'! Hahaha. I also had some pigmentation which lightened but didn't go away, and I did IPL to improve that.

A lot of ppl say they are very scared of doing lasers because it sounds very extreme and dangerous, but if you do research online you will see that there are actually so many people who have benefited and improved from laser treatments. I know of one colleague, she had a very bad birthmark on her upper arm, so she never wore any short sleeve dresses, we all thought she was old-fashioned, but suddenly one day she started to wear short sleeves. My other colleague, who is her good friend, told us that she finally solved her bad birthmark problem through laser. I cannot see anything there, so I am not sure if it is true or not, but it is amazing if it is! I only started to believe in lasers when I was studying in Australia because everybody there is crazy about doing lasers, so I tried it for my hair, and it is amazing, already at least 5-6 years, and still no hair! And really, no side effects. I think people are all frightened of trying lasers because they think it is something very experimental and unsafe, but the history of lasers is at least about 30 years old, and the technology is very sophisticated now. If you read singaporean skin forums they all do lasers, it is very common over there. So why not try to find out more about how laser treatments can be helpful to you too? biggrin.gif

Careyluv, if you want to try a mask, I recommend the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. You just put on the gel at night before you go to sleep, and then wash it off in the morning. I feel it moisturises very well. My friend bought it for me from Korea, and she said it is one of their very bestselling masks there. It's not very expensive either, I think less than RM100, but correct me if I am wrong. One jar lasts FOREVER because you don't need to use too much at once. I found this review online if you'd like to read it - http://www.mywomenstuff.com/2011/06/laneig...hile-you-sleep/
