If money not a factor i.e. <100k, inspira vs. preve, I vote for inspira. In fact, you can get a 1-year old for RM73k+, still got another 4 years warranty. Inspira fit & finish way better. Dashboard, inside door panels, knobs, buttons all feel more solid and gives you the feeling that they can last the test of time. Proven mitsu NA engine also easier to maintain in the long run. Preve IMHO, with all its gadgets, sounds good on paper only.

I think xeda's advise to test drive is very legitimate. When looking at the brochures, i felt preve was better. But after sitting in and test drive, my perception totally changed, inspira wins hands down, even without a turbocharged engine. For fords, test drive and have a feel at its dual-clutch. I've driven the s-max and didn't came out impressed, especially at crawling and lower speeds. Inspira's CVT is very nice, maybe not as good as Audi's, but that's erm... not apple to apple wink.gif

Perhaps so, as the preve I tested was a 1st batch. In spite of what the paper-specs say, Inspira felt more responsive and torquey as lower revs compared to Preve. Remember that Mitsu gave proton a detuned lancer engine (lower hp), 140+ vs. 156. Maybe due to that, inspira gets a flatter torque curve as a trade-off. I'm just speculating. This better ask owners. Also note, the k3 is on the horizon, so the forte's gonna be a "previous-gen" car soon. Fiesta facelift also in the works. But I don't hear any "lancer" replacement coming very soon.

Nah. 2014 Lancer. Didn't wanna post it cuz thread is not talking about new gen lancer.

Wah thanks. Next gen smaller? Still no spyshot. Like this i think earliest can reach our shore probably 2015-16. Still long time to go, so inspira will still look 'new'. K3 looks like a finished product and ready to launch. Ok ok we stop going off topic.
