what else to say? smile.gif
we need a REAL center forward. we need more players like sterling on the pitch - young, raw, most important of all, DARING to try.

well did we had downing on the pitch coz i thought i heard his name...

That's why I don't put much hope when downing is on... I wonder how can we pay someone like him for 20m... At 30 year of age somemore... Luckily we have sterling moment of brilliance...

i still remember the 200m price-tag ronaldo doing all sort of tricks on his debut in manchester utd and see where he's now drool.gif ... really hope sterling will not be tempted away from anfield to other bigger clubs who offer big fat contracts... nod.gif

No, he actually took a pay cut to join Chelsea. I'm quite surprised at this too. Chelsea presents him with more opportunities to win trophies and he's getting it - FA cup and Champions League. So why is he still not happy? He's never the same player he was before.
*
you gotta be kidding... no chance he will take a pay cut to join chelsea... the only reason you, we, they know is the one and only, abramovich's dollar notes... chelsea didnt even have their name crafted on european trophy when he joined...

QUOTE
Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay is waiting at the club’s Cobham training ground for the arrival of Fernando Torres in order to complete a deal worth £80 million in transfer fee and wages.

Chelsea will pay £45 million cash with a large chunk up front, plus a basic salary of £200,000-a-week – plus bonuses – which will almost double Torres’ current £110,000-a-week deal at Liverpool.

A five-year contract with signing-on fee would be worth £35 million – bringing the overall investment to a staggering £80 million.

shelvey folded his left leg... hows that a straight red reff?
a lot of positives from today's match, we have a very young and potential squad with the likes of sterling, suso and allen... now wisdom likely to get his chance to play too... borini played well and made a couple good run off direction to leave his markers behind...
the only negative, agger made of glass, no reliable backup on the cb...

Shelvey: "I apologise to the fans for getting sent off but no way was I pulling out of that tackle in a game of that importance. I'm sorry."
Shelvey: "I have also apologised to Sir Alex... just where I come from people don't grass people up to get someone sent off."

my prediction lineup...
jones
wisdom coates carra enrique
sterling henderson suso downing
morgan yesil

hope to see yesil shines in the later game...
henderson play as DM, a crucial player to do the dirty job... let the front three suso, morgan and yesil to terrorise wba defense... with sterling and downing running down on the flank to put in crosses...

Edit: How can i miss out assaidi, maybe sterling will get a rest and replace with assaidi brows.gif ... sterling's now a first team material... whistling.gif

imo sahin will start tonight..and morgan/yesil.it will be a big risk if both striker to start the game
*
my bad... we have got a wildcard in sahin... too bad he stays third in pecking order after gerrard and allen in the league game...
he can easily boss the midfielders against wba... flex.gif
i say we have a quality second string squad for the carling cup games...
