I believe a lot of women are struggling to shed weights and trying hard to get fit after the delivery.
Some simply give up and 'give in' the extra load that make you look 5 years older and miss the old skinny you.
But a lot of others who successfully shed all those weights and get fit. This is where you can share your experience
and advices.

Here's my experience:

I was 75kg during pregnancy.
I lost 5kg immediately after delivery (the baby's weight of course!)
I lost another 5kg after a week or two. (maybe i'm just lucky or maybe its breastfeeding)
After the one month confinement i started on herbalife.

Then i keep losing weight and now I'm 56kg. Baby is 1 year. I like my new weight but now
I'm more focus on getting fit and trim my waistline. Below are what work for me:

1. Fully Breastfeeding - it burns 300-500 calories daily
2. Herbalife - This healthful shake not only help me lose weight but also supply nutrien needed for me and baby
3. Low Carb diet. Have you heard about the Atkins? I'm not a strict low-carb followers but I tell you low-card diet
is the best diet ever - you can eat meat and chicken smile.gif no hunger I promise.
4. Denise Austin work out. Google her, find her on youtube. But i would suggest you to go to the Speedy store and buy her RM19 DVD workout, I have her book it's the best. Simple yet effective.

I was 50kg before my first child. When pregnant with him, my weight went up to 75kg I think. After deliver him, it came down to 70kg and within 6 months, somehow it went back to my original weight. I did not do anything extraordinary except for joining a yoga class with my sister in law for 2 months (8 sessions only).

I only breast fed for 3 months and stopped because I had to work. My office do not have any place for me to pump breast milk and toilet is shared with others from another company.

I also do not take nutritious product such as Herbalife nor Atkins. Just eat slightly lesser portion.

Now, my second pregnancy, weight went up to about 73 - 74kg. After deliver one month, my weight is 64kg. Hopefully it will go down faster cause got wedding to attend with my husband soon but no clothes to wear. Sheesh!! smile.gif

For those who want to lose weight fast the best way is to take care of your baby at night. I lost all the weight that I gained within 4 months and could wear my pre-pregnancy jeans back.

My sentiments smile.gif I went back to prepartum weight in 2 months time because I took care of the LO day and night. But even if the baby weight is gone, I wanted to go back to my previous shape so I do pushup everyday to firm up the muscles of my tummy.

I'll do the same after my confinement this time smile.gif

I was 47 kg pre pregnancy. at 38 weeks, i was at 80 kg.

Let me tell you, i am a petite lady with a huge tummy. And my PP came out, she was a mere 3.31 kg. Not 4kg+ like my O&G estimated.

I cant remember how fast i lost the weight, but i remember 6 months after delivery, i was able to fit into my jeans again. That was my aim.

And then around a year, i was back to my normal size and back to 47kg. Honestly i cant remember exactly when because i didnt weight myself everyday/week/month. my aim was to fit back to my old clothes.

Im very low exercise person, but during pregnancy i took short walks on the treadmill and stretches in the pool.

That continued after delivery for several months. I took daily evening walks with my PP soon after confinements.

And i took my confinements seriously. I made sure i wore the "barut" 24/7. Put ginger oil. get regular traditional massages. ate what i was served and avoid "gassy" food. I drank mostly juices or warm water (still do).

And yes, i BF fully till 8 mths and then stopped completely when my PP turned 2. That could have helped too?

I dare say, i went to Phuket 4 months after delivery and wore bikinis. I did not had a perfectly flat tummy then but it wasnt so bad by then. I couldnt do push up though cause I delivered through C-sec.

I think the extra mile during the confinement period is important to get back your body back. I know i sweated like i took a shower just after a very short walk.

For me I think wearing bengkung helps. I saw some Taiwan celebrities shared their experience of wearing bengkung for few months after delivery, and WOW, all back into their sexy shape. drool.gif (tie tightly as you can, get the modern bengkung easy to tie will help you sustain longer on wearing, many of my friend quick half way because they find too difficult to wear the tradisional bengkung)

Another thing is allow sweating during confinement. Many women said cannot tahan hot & sweat so they turn on fans or aircon. What you really missing is sweating actually help to release the extra water you retain in body during pregnancy. Just like if you have weight problem, some slimming centre will wrap you to sweat u into shape...

Last but not least, taking care of your baby and breast feed. I BF, take k my baby, wearing bengkung for 2 months diligently 24/7 and sweat extremely alot during confinement, no special diet and zero exercise (where got time)... when I back to work after 2 months maternity leave, I already can wear my Levi's slim cut (from 71kg to 55kg) rclxms.gif a lot people actually doesn't realize I just delivered a baby!

my pre pregnancy weight was 43kg, final trimester weight was 53kg. roughly gained about 10kg only, baby very light weighted at about 2.59kg.

i have not weight myself from delivery till now (5months). but unfortunately i cant fit into my old jeans nor pants, coz of the butt problem. but compared to the first month after delivery and now, my tummy did went off. but still if compared to pre pregnancy of coz still have a slight tummy there.

all the while i did not do any exercises but took care of my baby at night time only.

I'm 4.5 months postpartum right now.

Pre-pregnancy weight - 56kg
Weight before delivery - 71kg

Total gain - 15kg

Right after delivery - 68kg
2 months postpartum - 65kg
3 months postpartum - 64kg
4 months postpartum - 61kg
4.5 months postpartum - 60kg

I notice that my weight is only coming down slowly. Maybe because I'm eating like a cow. My food intake is 3x my pregnancy food intake. Fully breastfeeding now.

Lost a lot previously when I was BF my LO

but I am also currently trying out herbalife...

The product is good basically if u really stick to the rules but some times I find it is a bit struggle for me because i like to eat...tongue.gif
I think I need to explore on making varies herbalife shakes to keep me interested...

Nevertheless I still lost some weight and I find it not only helps in weight loss but it also improves the skin complexion -->miraculously became fairer and more pink. biggrin.gif

Jealous!!! Very jealous!!!

I couldn't BF although I wanted to

I was 200lbs during preggy at 170cm - tall n giant - n kept that weight for some three four years until I know herbalife.... Came down to 130lbs n could never be happier

Advice--
A) BF has been clinically proofed to be able to help losing weight

B) whereas night waking up or being a full time mom/housewife definitely can NOT bcos its very hard work emotionally& physically, plus food is too handy to get...

C) gym workout isn't advisable when u r my weight n hughness bcos the lower body parts couldn't take the pressure on running, walking down stairs or any jumping dancing bouncing.... Always take notice of any signals from your body....

Other than these, advices posted above r perfect!!! Especially TS!!

I did not drink herbalife after the delivery. I remember i was very FAT. Getting fatter and fatter. So sad to me. Then i knew Jinzhuoye at that time in facebook. I don't know why my weight kept me increase, she explained to me the hormonal changed after the delivery. She asked me try her jinzhuoye herbs tea. It is called Mas Cotek. It is very healthy. after trying, i loss 4kgs at the first month ( still got breastfeeding ). the second month i loss 2 kgs. Not only loss weight but also my womb's cut healed quickly. Cholesterol is improved........ Jinzhuoye is the good herbs tea for those wanna loss weight or balance hormonal after the delivery.

I have full set of NuSkin TRA stock (3 months) to let go at the price of RM4,300 instead of RM4,800. I am not an agent, therefore I have no other way to sell it off. Initially I bought that set for my mother but no matter how many times i've tried to convince her she just reject me, very stubborn.
Personally I've tried it and I have lost weight in 1 month from 50kg to 46k and now I am 43kg... weight still maintain after 5 months. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

i was close to 80kg before my delivery.. after a month, my weight approx 72kg.. i do breast feed since my son is born until now (2month 1week).. but 3 weeks ago, my friend intro me to this slimming undergarmet, EASECOX.. she told me it's free fitting so i tried.. after some thought i bought it and wear it till now.. I'm not sure whether it is the breast feed that keep me slim (as i am 65kg now) or is it Easecox help.. but wearing this does help my fats suck in quite fast

I'm NOT a consultant from EaseCox, but if there is anyone wanted to try for a free fitting session, feel free to drop me a message =)
